  • Winsor and NEUton.

Oh, a spida and a top hat!

  • @JasmineAesthetic They've had that image for years. When I bothered trying to learn pen & ink back in high school 20 years ago, W&N was the first ink I used too, though I didn't care for the shellac-based ink itself.

  • What sort of nibs are those? You sound Anglo-Saxon so I'm guessing they could be Gillott. You're lucky because those aren't available here in the USA and I hear Gillott pen nibs are high-quality.

  • ee aye, bonnie yorkshire lass! pies 'n' puddins! nice tut :)

  • @NaiveAmoeba Eeehhh, 'appen 'ow do, ecky thump! Etc. =D

  • This woman remminds me of a cute school history teacher I had in high school .

  • I think Old school is the best way to ink . You just can't get the same look or feel from a computer .

  • @Aztec5713 I like to ink both ways and there are advantages and disadvantages to both digital and traditional inking. I do like the feel of pen on paper, but cleaning ink off of your hands can be annoying.

  • @Aztec5713 Check out a program called Painter, made by Corel. It's got superb brush settings. I know what you mean about the feeling, but this has got to be the closest digital form to real life, when used with a decent tablet and spring pen.

  • Is your favourite one a lettering nib? Speedball Hunts? Gilotte? What?

That W&N ink is ace, Speedball Super Balsck and that FW stuff is good too. Anyway, ace video, ace drawing, ace tutorial! Whereabouts can I see your comics, please?

    All the best!

  • @vollsticks I'm actually not sure what kind of brand the nibs are, but I shall check next time I break out my nib pens.

  • this is weird motion detection

  • I can finally actually user my Deleters! Thankya SO MUCH~~

  • Utterly useless!

  • thanks, enjoyed drawing while listening to your tutorial, great help.

  • Eh-heh eh-HEH! the Peter Lorre EYES!

I think you've earned sum extra tucker from Matron for this! I haven't used one of those inks pens since me school-days co-insy-dentally enough.

  • @Granitoons This is probably the only time I've ever worn make-up for something that isn't a formal party. It actually creeped out my mum. Yay for creepy sleepy eyes!

    Lawks! Extra tucker! Good-oh!

  • @TheThirdSister I've tried the make-up thing when playing my 'wacky' characters. I have literally no idea how wimmin can put on eyeshadow without shredding slices out of their eylids! Yer sleepy eyes = laid-back June-y koolness.

  • Looking forward to the next part :) I'm have a hard time listening to your voice though -brick'd-
