The xtrema 2 (with the kick-off system) has 44% less recoil (kick) than any of it's closest competitors, or any other 12guage shotgun on the market. This is info is right from Beretta. Keep in mind that 44% less recoil only comes with the kick-off system. If you buy an ordinary xtrema 2, it will still be an awesome shotgun, second to none... except for the xtrema 2 with a kick-off. :)
No problem. The xtrema 2 without the kick-off does have a lot more kick to it though. A friend of mine has one with the kick-off system, and his brother has one without it. The one without certainly is not as gentle lol
You can also get an extension tube, and hold 11 shells. 10 in the tube, and 1 in the chamber. That's illegal for hunting though. The only time you could use it would be for target shooting on your own property... someplace where the regulations would allow it. You couldnt do it anywhere that I know of legally though. I think the max for hunting is 3 shells, 2 in the tube and 1 in the chamber. For target shooting the max is 3 as well typically.

I killed 3 snow goose this morning with my Xtrema 2. They were flying at about 30,000 ft. above the marsh when I shot them.

im thinking about buying one, im just curious, can it shoot slugs and could u give a comparison to its kick, like the same as a 20? or less.

A 20 gauge is a smaller gun and therefore has lighter recoil than this 12 g. And any shotgun can shoot slugs.
