Great video! I did get my Novice when I was 9, and am almost 60 now. My first Transmitter was a 50C5 tube with a 50 volt fil voltage and a regen receiver " Band Spanner". So seeing that there are other people like me that still build things is great. 73s OM! Jimmy, ARRL TS, WX9DX
seeing this makes me feel wimpy with my high-tech direct digital synth rig that makes life too easy :) Still amazing to see how far radio (and all technologies for that matter have come) ... but its still wonderful to see a beautiful radio like this... where I can actually look at it and (mostly) understand how it works :)
