  • That is a good sounding radio, Great job building it too! It says alot when you take the time to wind your own coils. This is what ham radio is about! 73s KC8YLT.

  • Very nice radio. I've been meaning to try out one or two of those designs in the Lindsay books. Where did you get the coil forms?

  • Great video! I did get my Novice when I was 9, and am almost 60 now. My first Transmitter was a 50C5 tube with a 50 volt fil voltage and a regen receiver " Band Spanner". So seeing that there are other people like me that still build things is great. 73s OM! Jimmy, ARRL TS, WX9DX

  • seeing this makes me feel wimpy with my high-tech direct digital synth rig that makes life too easy :) Still amazing to see how far radio (and all technologies for that matter have come) ... but its still wonderful to see a beautiful radio like this... where I can actually look at it and (mostly) understand how it works :)
