I'm so glad this movie has been made. I haven't seen it yet but I've never seen anything so tailor made for my perspective being a mixed woman having grown up in the suburbs and struggling with my identity with either race/culture...and continuing to do so. Thanks.
This will be shown on Saturday January 25 5:00pm at 1 York Road, Toronto Ontario featuring a rare Q&A afterwards with Anthony McLean from the film, and Sherien Barsoum, the film maker.
It is being presented by The ROPEprogram in partnership with TheLionsCircle.
This will be an amazing evening and all are welcome.
I honestly, enjoyed every moment of this documentary! I cant wait to see it again and share it with my children, nephews and neice. They will benefit from the message.
during the presentation where he asked who wants to participate in this, he lied... he said anyone could participate not just blacks... i think he contradicted everything he says in this movie.
this looks amazing...i can't wait to see it. More exposure for Brampton! Some people don't believe just how diverse that city is alone. I kept nodding to some of the things said here as a mixed girl I'm sure this'll hit home for me even more than the setting. From Brampton and proud of it!
I LOVE THIS! I've been waiting to see this for so long! I'm so proud of this project! Incredible topic, incredible work! Can't wait to see the full project!
Hello! Just wondering how I would be able to get a copy of the film...I was actually in it!!
