Yeah that's was a pre release version,the very first version.

The JB3 is more noticeable then before based on the screenshots he have posted.

what are your pc specs and what setting were you playing on ?

When I record I use the 1280x720 resolution cause my pc is weak to handle the 1920x1080 when recording only.

My specs is now:

MB:EVGA750i FTW

Cpu:E8400 @ 3.6ghz

Video:Evga 285GTX @685-2600mhz(2x1300mhz)

Sound:I use Razer Megalodon 7.1 headset cause they offload the cpu for sound.

Okay for most of you that havent realized this video is kinda out of date but link to it isnt. B/c the guy has improved the textures by a lot. I posted a video response onto this one and its of leliana singing. but this is with JB textures added. MOre up-to-date vid. Though you wont really see the diff in stuff like structures b/c its of leliana singing. but it shows the armor part of his mod that he has now added to make much better textures for armor. In his JBTextures downloads.

No, I run the game highest quality.

Also note that the time I made this video I was using HD texture pak from Reative24,he is the same creator of JB.

I'm guessing he renamed his mod cause of slander by other modders.

But now he renamed HD to J.B(Just better) texture pak which more better now.

I haven't changed the link on the more info box,it will take you to his updated version texture pack called J.B which is the same creator of HD texture.

Also note that this video was posted on Nov 17 2009,since then his mod has improved.

I have been busy with updating my UI skin for Lotro that hadn't had the chance to update this video with his current version of J.B.

Hope this clarifies things.

I think changes to stills would have been more noticeable. Whether side by side or if you circled what was going to change (like where you mentioned "carpet").

It's like WOW, except it's not gay.

Naa sorry. It's a ONE player RPG rather than an MMORPG like WOW, but the game play is way better than wow. It's got an incredible story with endless options for play-through outcomes, and wicked fight-sequences & spell effects.

It's by BIOWARE, who have brought you all the best RPG's the industry has to offer (in addition to those offered by Bethesda).

It's a solid 9.9/10 and worth every penny you spend on it.

Then you have bad eyes or looking in the wrong place. Everything gets sharpened up.

It works really well with doors, and wall textures, some stuff doesn't go HD that well, but it does sharpen up and looks nicer.

I had to look twice to see the difference in many cases, so i'm with you on the fact that it's very tiny changes. But for the keen eye i know this has alot to say, especially for hardcore RPG'ers who loves detail. I see it along on stone/marble, the carpet and on wood(doors) so i'm not blind. But the changes are somewhat minimalistic, or atleast to me it is. It's a good change though, no hating :) If you got the machine-power for it, by all means.. Mod up! hehe

Textures have resolution 1024x1024 some 512x512 (default was 256x256) and are very high detailed.

what does that mean i can play it on 512x512 with my pc and get high graphics ?

He means that the default texture from the game are running at 256x256,he upped the resolution of some texture between 1024x1024 and 512x512 where its needed while maintaining the same visual art of the game but higher res or sharpen instead of blurry.

oh okay i was asking becoz my video card sux i can play it on low but on mediuem on lowest resolution it kinda lags a litle can you tell me if theres a way to turn of shadows or gras in medium ?
