  • is there any leg between the audio and the video?

  • can browse internet/??????????

  • u love your hd but whats with uploading a 240p video lol!!! geez

  • So did I do something wrong with the settings ? I checked everything but it still doesn't view HD on youtube.

  • That must have been difficult, considering it came out in Feb 2010. @ Patrick, yes it plays HD streams when available.@Walking, as of this writing u cannot search in Netflix, but there was an update a few days ago. I've yet to have a chance to download it and check it out.

  • @hikaruvf1s My player when playing newer Blu Ray discs displays a message saying that the player may need an update because the disc is new, it has been updated and eventually plays the disc but still displays the message. Any help? Also any Blu Ray disc made before the player runs fine.

  • @hikaruvf1s It's probably not a setting you can change. I used an LG blu ray player to stream youtube videos and it would only play low-quality videos. There's probably nothing you can do about it.

  • This player sucks, bought mine last year. Load times suck

  • @ThreeCatsScratching, good things come to those who wait. Quality or quantity?

  • Will this player allow you to play higher quality and HD youtube videos? I looked at a LG player (BD 570) and it would only play lower quality YouTube videos which looked pretty bad on a big screen.

  • @PatrickDSimpson When I play YouTube videos with the Sony BDP-S370 it doesn't play HD just bad quality unless I did something wrong with the Settings! I have a LCD TV SONY KDL-32EX so it doen't make sense

  • can u search in netflix?

  • TO RUN BLURAY FILES (mkv) ON MOBILES GET CORE PLAYER LATEST VERSION 1.3.6 CRACKED megauploadcom/?d=QZ03IGBJ just put . (dot) before com

  • So let me get this straight.. my $10,000 dollar panasonic has system must have no backwards compatibility with the latest 3D Blu ray features. You need a 3D Full HD TV + a 3D Blu Ray Player + a 3D Blu Ray Disc (Movie) to even watch it.

What a fucking joke. Well looks like i'll wait a while before i change anything

  • Hello Alanpalse, They both have robust internet video and VOD (video on demand features) The major point , I think, that of this writing is that Bravia internet TV supports Amazon VOD and the PS3 does not. However the PS3 supports Vudu, while Bravia internet TV currently does not. Both units support Hulu Plus and Netflix. The Blu Ray player also supports Quiosoty (sp), Sonys (crappy) VOD serrvice. Hope this info helps.

  • Hey can you tell me... does the PlayStation3 have the same features like internet Wifi, and the BRAVIA Internet Video for download tv show and movies? I'm going to buy either this or the PS3... I'm not sure... HELP ME.

  • Does this thin play AVI divx I wonder.

  • No,Got to get a 3d tv.Try out Mitsubishi, I have 82 inch using ps3.Just got the 3.50 update 3d blu-rays look insane on a screen this size.Never going to the Imax theaters again.

  • Hello GF. Is your player connected to the Internet? I think it uses a website too look up BD and DVD data.

  • And it is fully updated

  • I just bought this player and the name of the Blu-ray doesn't show up on the menu it just says BD and I had the same disc in another player and it said the name and the disc number so I know the disc does but I can't get it to on this player. Do you know how I can get it to say the name of the disc? Like how yours says Sweeney Todd.

  • is this region free?

  • do i really need a blu ray player with wifi? the guy at best buy said that i can get updates wirelessly. how often would i need updates? . . . thx (btw was looking at s370 vs s570)

  • can you tell where was it made?I'm really curious.I saw that the 370 was made in Malaysia.

  • Will the 3D work even if you don't Have a 3D tv. I have a 50 inch sony bravia.

  • @dutyfan11 no you need a 3d ready tv and 3d glasses, or else all you'll see is a blur

  • Yes, the update has been released. This player can now play 3D Blu Ray discs.

  • can any movies be in 3D plzzz i need answer fast

  • @zelenbic Samsung, Sony and Toshiba have announced that their 3D-ready HDTVs can convert 2D content into 3D, Panasonic, LG and others are not making that claim yet. But no one knows how the quality will be

  • i have BDPS-570 but i have a really weak connection as our wireless router is on the second floor far side of the house lol. is there anyway i can boost wireless connection, or is it possible for me to create a second wireless source on the first floor that would be closer to the TV?

sorry if this doesnt make sense, must knowledge of this kind of stuff is pretty slim, but yeah i really wanna watch youtube videos on my bravia

  • 3d blu ray can you turn feature off watch blu ray like normal

  • Mine is still sealed in the box. I guess one could say I am "electronically challenged". I have the Sony Bravia television, cable box and Wii hooked up now. I don't even know where to begin to connect the dvd player. Sighs.

  • I was looking at the s570, but made the choice that I dont need wifi, I just want to be able to update the firmware through the ethernet jack, (which i have in everyroom of my house). so I think I will buy this player, have you had any problems with it?

  • What screen size is your HDTV?

    Is it 720p or 1080p?

  • @Riddler95 ..its a 2 year old 50in Samsung Plasma. Its best resolution is 720p/1080i.

  • @Riddler95, the pic on the tv actually is very good, where this video goes wrong is the video capture on my still camera which i filmed it on is only 640x460.

  • does this player have the HDMI 1.4 3D enabled out put on it please reply need to know before i buy cheers mate

  • @TheSwalk3r ..As far as I know its 1.3 HDMI. Sony is planning some type of workaround for outputting the 3D signal. Not sure yest as the 3D firrmware update has yet too be released but if I had to guess, I bet the 3D signal will be in 1080i/720p.

  • @seetherryan1 the 3d blu rays are going to be backward compatable with old and new blu ray players, so they will play in normal blu ray players in 2D, comfirmed

  • Does this player have Pandora? and its able to work off wifi right?

  • @MeShell954 ..It can work with WiFi but you will need an adapter. For built in wifi right out the box you want the BDPS-570.

  • HUSS1Er, this player is quiter then my PS3 Slim. I think you will be better served by this then a ps3. If you need wireless, then step up too the bdps570. Hope this info helps.

  • I think both. Just remember if u want 3D, u will need a new tv.

  • dude will normal blyrays still be for sale or will it all go 3d like how will they be relesed well they be 2 diff versions of the movie sold a 2d and a 3d or wil it come in one package or can any bluray go 3d...just cause i dont have money for a new tv and glasses right now but i still want blu rays

  • I'm trying to decide between a PS3 and possibly this player. I'm not much of a gamer, but I keep reading how a PS3 is a very reliable player. What concerns me the most, however, is the noise. Is this player less noisy than a PS3? I can't tolerate the fan noise of a PS3 while watching a movie. Thanks for your help!

  • 4 1/2 mins on your old player. Milking that, you must have been in the development stages of blu ray for Sony!

  • Between this and the PS3 for blu Ray and netflix I can see no difference. At a guess I would say the s370 is the same as the only major difference is the summer 3D update.

  • would you say there is a difference in image quality on your ps3 and this Sony BDP-S370??

  • Got this yesterday for under $200...An excellent player with many features

  • i want the 400 disc changer, but it is not hdmi 1.4 so it cant do 3D.

  • Great review I'm in the market for a blu-ray player. So is this Blu-ray wi-fi ready or did you have to buy somekind wi-fi dongle? I was considering a samsung blu-ray to go with my samsung lcd but all the reviews on samsung blu-ray players are atrocious.

  • Hello and thanks. My reply was too lengthy too fit here so I sent it too your inbox. Hope it helps.

  • great ... thanks
