I do fear the guise of patriotism and religious animosity will be enough to rally the Arab world, and moreover the straggling sheep within the united states.

@UKLooney Wall Street caused the financial crisis. Yes the politicians are owned by Wall Street. For example the financial sector spent over $1 billion in campaign donations (1999-2008) for financial reforms and deregulation. Then when they got what they wanted the big banks and Goldman Sachs, et al. Engaged in heavy speculation which collapsed the whole market and the companies and banks would have failed if the US hadn't bailed them out (on the our dime) while we face record unemployment.
