  • I knew the top 3 from the beggining

  • Steve McMoneyman only nr.22!! WTF?!

I mean cmon! They boy was simply brilliant, and if im not mistaking, he is the LFC player with most assist in the history of the club.

The way he left wasnt optimal, but it wasnt like Torres either.

  • @commentfightsplease Or actually, its top 100 if im not mistaking, eh?

Then maybe 22nd spot aint so bad.

Got any clue on what spot Redknapp got?

Quite incredible thinking of StevieG making 2nd spot in 2006. If he ever is to lift the PL trophy, then I think he will go past King Kenny as the greatest.

  • tOrreS?

  • @AlepCygAzira this was made in 2006, before torres came to liverpool

  • @samabc1234 oo . ok ! :)

  • rush ! ♥

  • No Toshack?

  • redknapp?

  • a lot of people dont seem to realise the list is from 100 players who shook the kop which is liverpools best 100 players voted by fans on lfc website..a lot of the players people are saying should be on the list ARE on it..just not in the top 30

  • 25?

  • Who's number 6?

  • @twseel Billy Liddell

  • Thumbs up if u think not having gerrard and dalgleish in a seperate area of this list is disrespectful to them. Not really just pointing out that they are immortal 2 of the greatest prem players ever. They cannot be judged

  • Gerrard nr.2 and King Kenny nr.1! No way! Who would expected that?

  • Thumbs up if you think Callaghan looked like Carragher on that picture!

  • Although Owen plays for United, still is a part of the top 30 for the KOP IMO! Garcia shouldn't feature in this list. Gotta add Hyypia to the list. Maybe Dudek, and now Reina - although not much silverware to show for it! Maybe Alonso would have featured in this list had he played a couple more years - not his fault for leaving though.. Rafa messed up! Also Henchoz could possibly be listed too!

  • michel owen has got no loyalty wa wso ever going to united the dirty scum bag

  • michael owen is a fuck up. the most quickly erased legend ever. no mans land he inhabits. bad enough going to madrid and missing istanbul but then top it off by lickin old trafford. such a clever boy! his stupidity knows no bounds

  • @baizecr1 owen did what he had to, to win a league title. He was smart enough to know he would never do it at Liverpool something that tard gerard never realised!!

  • Great players, but what the heck did Luis Garcia do there???

  • where's El Hadji Diouf?

  • Win , Lose or Tie, I'm Liverpool Fan Till I Die

  • Thompson at 27? Should be higher i reckon :/ good list anyhow.

  • sami hyypia?

  • no mcmahon,

  • I think Kenny Dalglish as number 1 is undisputed. I think John Barnes should be 2 with Kevin Keegan, Ian Rush and Steven Gerrard making up the rest of the top 5.

  • 1 is a legend

  • I love Ian Rush

  • where's souness, mcdermot and the others from liverpools heyday?

  • Wheres Craig Johnstone?

  • 60,000 views Thank You All

  • And once again the King of Kings is crowned. Long live the King !

  • Michael Owen.. Is not a legend. Sami Hyypiä, Didi Hamann, Dudek, Xabi and maybe even Smicer deserve to be there IMO :)

  • i agree apart from smicer

  • @waytoolatetoplay i can't agreed you more. no room for traitor, no matter how good he is!! If he is a Kop's legend, then why supporters not welcomed him well?

  • john barnes should be 1 or 2 and mcmannaman at 22 what a joke, top ten easy

  • john barnes should be 1 or 2

  • is alan kennedy there? great leftback

  • where is igor biscan????

  • @puceblanche why would he be there

  • sami hyypiä, where is he?

  • Sami hyypiä should be there

  • owen shud be at number 7 definetely

  • Lmao!! Michael Owen???? Seriously??

  • I could use YNWA than this stupid idiotic music though.

  • i knew the first three even before the clip starts :D

  • fair to say Reina should be added to this now.

  • I reckn dirk kuyt should be in there, like mid 20s

  • Where is 5 nubmber and where Xabi Alonso?

  • As soon as I saw fat man Molby ahead of the elephant man Beardsley I knew this to be a work of fantasy. And carragher isn't fit to even look at alan Hansen football boots

  • @jimmywires500 Agreed. Carra is a top player, but Alan Hansen was the best defender in the world.

  • Owen only 14th??? I know he's now a fucking Red Devils but...come oooooonnn!! He 's one of best English playesr of all time!! (and i'm French^^)

  • Man U top 30 players are better!

  • @Steeluv Why are you even watching this whore :/

  • @SKINNYDUDEPERSONGUY true though! Im neither a loserpool or man ure scum bucket! Cantona Best and Charlton are better than any liverpool player of any era, Beardsley is only low because of the other team who he played for... typical football biased idiots, Carragher is so high because he stayed with Liverpool his whole career if he had gone to Everton for a couple of years to see out his career then he would go way down the list

  • Peter Beardsley is too low and Carragher above Hansen get lost

  • Peter Beardsley is too low

  • luis garcia above mcmanaman ??? come on!!

  • Carragher #7???? That is truly shocking!!!! And quite sad. My jaw dropped when I saw that one.

  • luis garcia is in here but not big Sami? joke.

  • liverpool is a hooligan club but unlike chelsea, tottenham and manU it's not in jewrish hands at least

  • @zobielamouche1 Lets hope you get hit by a car today

  • @indyandsam liverpools house jew has left for chelsea on the beginning of this season.

  • @zobielamouche1 Is that supposed to make sense cunt face?

  • @zobielamouche1 Is that supposed to make sense cunty balls?

  • @zobielamouche1 What are you talking about?

  • какая песня играет ? ??? ??

    what song is playing?

  • what the music ?!!

  • where is liddellpool

  • torres ??

  • was gonna make a comment about garcia but cant be bothered

  • @davehan1000 yea, me too.

  • My opinion is Barnes should be No.2 after King Kenny. Steve Highway should be in Top 5. With Stevie at 4 and Rush at 3. And where are McDermott, Ray Kennedy,Alan Kennedy, Hyppia, Nicol, Johnston, Molby, McMahon? Owen is ok in Top 20 or 30. But Luis Garcia & Carra? Come on! And somebody said Dalglish is overated. WTF. Why do you think he is called King Kenny? And why his name is mentioned in 'Field of Anfield Road'?

  • Also I think Gerrard has now surpassed Dalglish but only just.

  • Stevie Highway should have been WAAAAY higher.

  • rush should be number 1!!!!!!!

  • Virtually impossible to have an accurate top 30. You could have a list for each decade.

For instance, where are Ray Kennedy and Terry McDermott? Two of best players of the 70s.

    1. Dalglish

    2. Rush

    3. Gerrard

  • Luis Garcia...your taking the piss. Where is Steve McMahon and Mcmanaman. Ronnie Whelan should be in top 10 and Steve nicol top 20...hyypia top 30 and Lucas...only jokin!

  • when u think aboy it theres too many good playes but these are clearly the best

    6.hypia/hansen/

    5.fowler

    4.gerrard.

    3.delglish(very overated)

    2.barnes

    1. rush(obviously!!)

  • you can tell that the people who voted are only young. No way would carra be ahead of hansen and no way would digger only be 6. Hes as good a player as stevie has been.

  • where´s Mcmanaman?

  • @TheKefa71 He's at 22, i missed hime out accidently

  • Where the heck is Sami Hyypia?? he's more than just a legend.

And Steve McManaman, Jamie Redknapp, Jerzy Dudek.

  • Where is Fernando Torres?

  • @StyleOfSanjiBlackleg the poll took place before torres came to liverpool.

  • @StyleOfSanjiBlackleg This was made in 2006 he joined in 2008 stupid head

  • @StyleOfSanjiBlackleg

He ain't in the top 30 anyway

  • @StyleOfSanjiBlackleg chelsea..

  • @StyleOfSanjiBlackleg at chelsea

  • @StyleOfSanjiBlackleg at chelsea

  • i remember this list was just before torres joined the club. i think he can have a place among the 100

  • Luis Garcia? You must have been snorting detergent.

  • barnes number one or top three atleast imo :P still pretty good list

  • Dalglish as #1 is granted. To place Gerrard in the top 5 is fair, but #2 was probably a bit too high, but I can see why given it was done just after Cardiff '06! Today, I think Torres and Reina would easily make the top 10 cut, and Alonso + Mascherano would surely be in top 30, possibly even Kuyt!

Now let's go save the club!

  • who's 6?

  • @james0908 Billy Liddell

  • Revised List BARNES DALGLISH RUSH FOWLER GERRARD HEIGHWAY KEEGAN MCDERMOTT HANSON LAWRENSON CLEMENCE
  • @wayneleon100

Glad someone mentioned lawrenson. He should have been in that list.

    The magnificent threesomes.

    Geobbelaar, Lawrenson & Hanson

    Rush Dalgliesh and Barnes/Beardsley ........

  • luis garcia ? haha

  • where is steve mcmanaman???

  • @leras25 steve Mcmanaman is at 22 i just missed him out accidently

  • =liverpool old players is very great

  • if Luis Garcia on there then where the hell is Djimi Traore he just can't he just can't he just can't control his feet Steve mcmarn; Steve nicol MISSING of the list but cant really argue with the rest

  • Wheres Sammi Hyppia? Pepe Reina? Steven Finnan?

  • @PerfectRoast

They're not good enough mate, Reina is still 4th behind Lawrence,Clem and Grobbelaar, Finnan and Hyppia will never be better than Neal,Lawrenson,Hansen etc...

  • As I was not even born to even witness the Dalglish and Rush partnership, gerrard has to be my top pick with fowler second. Owen is off that list now of course :)

  • @08evercrest

You should have seen the trio of Beardsley,Barnes and Aldridge in the late 80s then, that was an attacking force like no other

  • @Moss235

yeah i've heard much of it of course but I wasn't born then either lol

  • i only disagree with louis garcia. besides that goal vs juve..meh

  • BTW, i shud stop posting on this cos its an LFC video, so its strange to discuss that here.

  • Rush should be 2

  • xabi alonso shoulda been on there at number bout 7 carra shlda bin higher

  • Top 30 MUFC players continued..... Top 10 10-Bryan Robson 9-Cristiano Ronaldo 8-Peter Schmeichel 7-Roy Keane 6-Eric Cantona 5-Denis Law 4-Ryan Giggs 3-Duncan Edwards 2-George Best 1-Sir Bobby Charlton No disrespect to LFC fans and i'm not tryin to piss ppl off but watchin this vid made me feel like postin this. I thought ppl might compare and contrast but i don't mind deleting it. Maybe i'll put on Youtube one day instead!
  • @93thechosen1 ok fair enough you done a man utd one but im sorry george best should be number one on tht list

  • Why be sensible in this post, but your a tool in your post history? tell me about Duncan Edwards, his best games and why you think hes so good

  • Sensible?? What do you mean by me being "a tool in my post history"??

And i didn't base this on my opinion cos i'm only 17, but on the opinions of many others who saw him including Bobby Charlton who said he is the only player who made him feel inferior and that includes the likes of Law, George Best and even PELE!

But i'll probably delete those "contraversial" posts cos they'll just provoke heated "debates"!

  • Edwards may of been very good when he was younger, But so was someone like Gazza and others, If Gazza had died in 1991, then people would say he would of been one of the best players ever but it didnt turn out that way

Im not being disrespectful but I dont think he should be constantly considered one of the best players ever based on just that

  • The fact that it was Bobby Charlton who says this, considering how gud he went on to become and who he played alongside nd against, eg. Pele, Best, Law, Beckenbauer etc. n the fact tat ppl even here in Ireland who watched him say he was the best player theyve evr seen, speaks volumes. But that doesn't rule out your point that he may or may not have reached those allegded heights, we just don't know. But nonetheless he is an immortal legend at United and claimed to be the best we've ever produced

  • I don't know why but even though i'll get thumbs down and abuse for doing this, i thought i'd take the liberty of doing a top 30 MUFC players list

    30-Andy Cole29-Dwight Yorke28-Teddy Sheringham27-Dennis Irwin26-Norman Whiteside25-Nobby Stiles24-Rio Ferdinand23-Paul McGrath22-Steve Bruce21-Tommy Taylor20-Gary Neville19-Ole Gunnar Solskjaer18-Jaap Stam17-Mark Hughes16-Ruud Van Nistlerooy15-Billy Meredith14-Roger Byrne13-Wayne Rooney(so far)12-David Beckham11-Paul Scholes

    To be continued......

  • do you even know what bull shit you just posted on you tube??? pull you head out of your arse hole!!! start again knob!!!

  • 1- Dalglish

    2 - Gerrard

    3 - Barnes

If Dalglish was English, German, Dutch, Argentinian, Italian or Brazilian he'd be the greatest thing since sliced bread.

  • liverpool has too many legends naming them takes lots of efforts.

  • where is Xabi Alonso? If there is Luis Garcia who nowadays plays for Racing, I don't know where Xabi is

  • Xabi Alonso came at 33

  • Garcia and Fairclough deserve great credit for what they did for LFC. We would be minus 2 European Cups without them lets not forget. However, I don't think they belong in the top 30. In their place, in my opinion should be any 2 from the following 4:

    Didi Hamann

    Sami Hyypia

    Terry McDermott

    Steve McMahon

  • Jimmy Case?

    John Toshack?

    Craig Johnstone?

    Terry McDermott?

    Mark Lawrenson?

  • 1: BARNES 2: DALGLISH 3; RUSH 4:SOUNESS 5:MCDERMOTT 6:HANSON 7: LAWRENSON 8: CLEMENCE 9: KEEGAN 10: CALLAGHAN One day Reina and Torres will be on that list, but they have not done anywhere near enough...yet.
  • reina and torres deserve to be there maybe not torres but torres is the best in PL

  • Where the hell is Hyypia? Also, Mcdermott?

  • 14 that is a discrase and garcia What hardly liverpool fans saying that theese pepole on there owen got to be top 10 min

  • where the hell is sami hypia

  • aldo better than luis garcia

    peter is higher than 19

    owen higher than 14 surely

    barnes top 4

ian rush, stevie g + king kenny good in top 3

  • Where is steven mcmanaman????and Luis Garcia!hahahahahahahaha!that must be a big jooookeee!

  • Luis garcia is at 24 and Steven Mcmanaman is at 22.

  • i would really have to sit down n think..... but the judas would never be in my top 30. fuck him!!!!!!

  • Luis Garcia? what hes doing on that list ill never know

  • Am i going crazy how on earth is John Barnes not in the top 3 AT LEAST?? does no one remember 86 -

  • 1- Barnes

    2- Gerrard

    3- Dalglish

  • For me; 1/Dalglish 2/Tommy Smith 3/ Hughes 4/ Rush 5/ Hansen 6/ Keegan 7/ Fowler 8/ Aldridge 9/ Molby 10/ Ray Kennedy Owen 500th
  • haha owen... boil him in oil.

  • 1 Gerrard

    2 Barnes

    3 Fowler

    4 Dalglish

    5 Rush

    6 McManaman

    7 Carra

    8 Souness

    9 Keegan

    10 Hansen

  • why does phil neal look like michael owen?

  • Ian Rush, Kenny Dalglish, Kevin Keegan, Ray Kennedy, Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres, Dirk Kuyt and Yossi Benyoun.

  • why no billy liddle.

  • It should read: 1)Barnes - Dalglish 2)Souness 3)Steven Gerrard 4)Ian Rush 5)Robbie Fowler 6)Kevin Keegan 7)Ray Kennedy 8)Alan Hansen 9)Sami Hyypia 10) Crazy Horse That's what I'm sayin' anyway...
  • 11) Torres... ha

  • where is dudek...he was the best keeper they had....saving them in penalty kicks DUDEK

  • wtf is luis garcia doing there

michael owen needs to be higher

Steve McManaman?Redknapp? mabye gary mcallister with the help in 2000-01

  • there were like 2-3 numbers missed out.. liddell was one of them i believe

  • Speaking purely from what I'VE seen, in my generation:

    1. Gerrard

    2. Hamann

    3. Fowler

    4. Murphy

    5. Carragher

It'd be different if I had been alive for the 70s-80s.

  • like the music :)

  • Thanks

  • Steve McManaman deserves a top 10

  • He's a fucking scumbag who robbed the club.

  • I disagree with this but even if he did he was still amazing down the wing

  • Correct, he carried the club for several years, but if he was a true red he wouldn't have acted in such a mercenary way when he left.

  • We were going nowhere in the late 90s, Real fucking Madrid offered him a contract, who would have said no? You have to remember he was, and still is, a Bluenose. And who would have enjoyed playing hoof the ball under Houllier, who you have to remember forced Robbie Fowler out of the club?

  • I would say no to Real Madrid ;). And I'm not denying that, it's just his contempt for the club that made and worshipped him is shocking.

  • I would say no to Real if I were an LFC player, because a) I support Atletico in Spain and b) as a fan, why would I want to leave? Macca, though, was an Evertonian, and still is. And what's so bad about wanting to go? He didn't think the club was going anywhere, and he won 2 Champions' Leagues and 1La Liga with Real. He realized he would win more away from LFC and he did. What's wrong with not renewing your contract and leaving on a free, anyway? And I don't see you insulting Phil Babb, either.

  • He had the option previously to leave for at least some money, meaning the club that raised him as a player could have seen the benefit of its effort. And no, I don't, as it's not as serious; and as for this Evertonian shit, Jamie Carragher was, Robbie Fowler was, et al.

  • Yeah, but they would support LFC now. Macca is still an Evertonian. And why the fuck would he have intentionally left on a free? he obvioulsy had a reason too... Are you going to condemn every other player who's left on a free?

  • Quality effort there on completely misreading my post. No, I'm not, but in a similar note to Owen leaving for a pittance by grinding down his contract, he had every opportunity but went for higher wages.

  • OK, what did Liverpool win after he left? The FA Cup, the League Cup and the UEFA Cup. What did he win at Real? 2 Champions' Leagues and a La Liga title. I know which ones I would rather have won.

  • Yeah, you're completely missing my point here so enjoy arguing with yourself.

  • get your head tested mate luis garcia ??? is garcia your gay lover?

my top five : Dalgish, Barnes,Gerrard, Rush, Beardsley

  • Luis Garcia was an amazing player, what're you on about.

This list was compiled through fans votes.

  • where was billy liddell?

  • Comment removed

  • Stevie Nicol definately a great shout to be on, also Craig Johnston. I guess we are just lucky to have had so many real legends at our club. Big Sami also been amazing for us, deserves a place for me. Wheres Ferri, Peiknik, Dicks, Pellegrino and Eric Meijer though haha?

  • hansen and souness should be in higher positions

  • Omg sorry i forgot fowler too sorr :(

  • 1 Kenyy dalglish

    2Stevie G

    3Ian rush

    4 John Barnes

    BEST EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IN LFC

  • I think Stevie is fair enough at #2 for now. When he wins a least 2 EPLs for us before he retires, he might deserve to take #1. If we keep Torres long enough he could make top 10 in the future.

  • you have to consider that Kenny played with really great players. Gerrars plays in a great them but not near as superior as the team kenny played in. And Gerrard really lifts his team. Without him i dont know if they even would qualificate for champions league.. so when Gerrard ends his career he truly deserves number 1 on this list

  • gotta love ian rush's moustache proper innit!
