  • Very vague and innacurate

  • The Rewrite History Channel...Get your facts straight History

  • No a la energia nuclear. Sus consecuencias nos acompañaran para siempre.

  • Digitally unmastered

  • S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anyone?

  • @thegamegorilla STALKER call of PRIPYAT.

  • These “Ukrainians” at 5:25 getting their iodine “pills” are speaking a perfect Polish. The kids are getting their iodine SYRUP. Everything else is doubtful, too. There is not enough facts. It seems they had just a few pictures of Chernobyl and news information. The rest is propaganda. All the “people of Chernobyl” are probably taken from documentary Slavonic movies of that period so they have “Russian” faces and cloths. In general what they did is a good example of … a Soviet-like blunder ;-)

  • this video sounds more like unti soviet russia ...from the begining to the end ,soviet russia ,soviet union ,soviet union did this and soviet russia did that...

  • @artin74 Anti*

  • Wow, this video is loaded with inaccuracies!!!

  • @vic320 yea sure...and the holocaust didnt happen either right?

  • @vic320 I agree. Instead of objective description of accident, it is full of bullshit about how Soviet Union and russian (ukarinian etc.) people were "bad"... Isn't this document made by american documentarists? :-) I don't believe everything I can see on TV, mostly it lies and mystificates people... I read various books about Chernobyl accident instead - they are more close to truth, though nobody knows, how exactly the accident happend.

  • USA

  • the dudes on the copter seeing the red glow must have got huge dose

  • lol at the end it said the radiation cloud covered most of you!!! lololol

But its still sad how this happened.

  • of course we elected bush so were pretty dumb to

  • @linka46n2 Fuck u, Russia was one of the greatest empires of the 20th century!!! Да здравствует матери России забыть Америки!!!

  • @linka46n2 Fuck u Russia was one of the greatest empires of the 20th century!!! Да здравствует матери России забыть Америки!!!

  • in soviet russia reactor blows up you!

  • @GundamStickArena it did

  • stupid russians

  • See everyone, socialism doesn't work which is why we don't want it in the United States.

  • this investigation way more detailed than 911

  • @raymondo900 lol. Maybe a Russian tv station will make a doco about 911just like History Channel have done here with the Chernobyl disaster.

  • RBMK...a flawed design with no containment. This may not have happened if those stupid operators KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. You don't ignore a ptoblem in a nuclear reactor.

  • ScandalB52 you need to brush up on some world history, or our highschools need to teach better. Either way ukraine was apart of the USSR. Considering this was only 25 years ago how can people be so ignorant.

  • it wasn't Russia it was Ukraine

  • @TENACIOUSe111 SOVIET. FUCKING SOVIET.

    NOT RUSSIAN-SOVIET.

  • Chernobyl, UKRAINE.

All you people do is post things you think LOOK smart.

  • a politically colored documentary. and this said by a western european citizen. the US just narrowly escaped the same fate at three miles island. they just got a lucky break with the hydrogen bubble.

  • @bender0502 sad enough that the US government wasnt lazy, and irresponsible. They took proper actiong unlike the Russians.

  • those damn sinister reds

  • one hundred times more powerfull the the atom bombs.

  • @HybridPineapple not 100 times more powerful, 100 times the radiation

  • it.... it...... broke

  • stupid russians

  • Thats not a fair statement. the common Russian individual was more intellectual then some give credit. If anything, it was the Russian government that was stupid, isolating the people from the outside because of jealousy forming between Russia itself and the Americas. So yes, some Russians were stupid (government wise) but public wise, they had no idea. In the end, the statement "stupid Russians" applies credit to where it is due but no where else.

  • @carlisleboi27 "In the end, the statement 'stupid Russians' applies credit to where it is due" - um, so you're calling Russians stupid as well?

  • @carlisleboi27 we all make mistakes, this one was one we were to learn from :I

  • @carlisleboi27 the gov. was not in that place people were and the job they did speaks for itself i would not defend these people it was stupid and not smart and really stupid and criminal

  • It was not the russians, but the communist system. Also please notive that the liqudators were the soviet heroes, to whom we may thank that we can live safely now.

  • Not only Soviet heros , but World heros

  • Exactly.

  • technically they are Ukrainians. and it could happen to anyone.

  • chernobyl. that word alone sends cold chills down my back. a scary, dark, and very sad situation.

  • this is an incredibly sad story, and to think that that if the USSR had evacuated people sooner, there wouldn't have been as many fatalities as there were

  • Comment removed

  • They didn't explain why the insertion of the rods prompted an increase in power. The rods were tipped with graphite, which caused the power surge.

  • i just thought that chernobyl would be a problem for the local area but it turned out that it was a problem for the world.

  • this is why we listen and learn, to realize the actual facts of certain situations. And the glad i am not there. why? it could happen here too oh well

  • what?!?!?!?!? radiation can spread that much?!?!? insane!!!

  • ddffgffdknkidjdtry;sr116wwry

  • glad im not there =)
