  • how much watts??

  • 240 volts 3 phase?

  • @gameexpert385 No 240 single phase.

  • ok its now 3 in the morning time to piss off the neighbors!

  • Is this like a tornado siren?

  • This is a 1-phase plugged into a dryer or stove outlet?

  • @MaxxFordham No. It's hooked up to a 50 amp circuit I added in my garage. I run it by turning the breaker on.

  • @vanamonde2

But it's 220-240 volts or so, right?

  • @MaxxFordham It's regular house 240.

  • @vanamonde2

Yeah, that's what I was asking. But it sounds like you've hard-wired it in.

  • i want to be your neighbor-lol

  • Make A New Video And Let It Run All The Way Out It's A Beautiful Siren Thank you Good Video

  • How Much does one of these sirens whiegh with and without parts like this siren without cover?

  • As it is in the video it's about 150 - 200 pounds.

  • where did you get that thing and for how much?

  • I got it from a power company that sold a load of siren parts. I ended up with two model 5s and a third incomplete model 5. It's incomplete because it doesn't have a rotor.

  • thats pretty cool

  • @vanamonde2 would you sell one

  • Great model 5

  • I see a Blower pipe... and thats a pretty good sounding model 5.. where did u get those new parts?

  • YOU NOY U

  • YOU NOT U

  • Huh?????

  • @vanamonde2 Sounds Pretty Normal to me...Healthy Siren!

  • @vanamonde2 seeker means the unsteady sound that so many sirens make.

Wow wow wow wow woow woow woow wooow wooow wooow as it slows

I don't knowhy sirens do that. Rotors appear perfectly made and balanced.

Hope you were wearing ear protection.

Get it to full speed nextime.

    Nice.

  • @robertgift I did get it to full speed next time. See my other videos.

  • how much do you want for that?

  • Go to my site, named on my main youtube page, and send me an email. My email is at the bottom of my main page.

  • put that on your ceiling and you got your a cool loud cieling fan

  • Hahahaha, "cool loud ceiling fan"!

  • nice siren! how many ports has this siren?

  • 12 ...

  • Is that 240 volts going through that siren? I have heard for a wierd reason that if you power it on 120 volts, the motor will overheat.

  • Yes it's 240. crazysirenboy has a video of him running his single phase Model 5 on 120 volts. I believe he says that the repulsion induction motors will run on 120 without much problem. I don't think you could do that very often or for a long period of time though.

  • A capacitor start/run motor will definitely have that problem, induction-repulsion motors are fine with it apparently.

  • that looks like the chopper on the 2t22

  • I think it's the same as the 12 port side of the 22.

  • no its the same as the 2001 sirens

  • I've had a 2t22 and it looks like the exact same 12 port rotor and stator that's on the 2t22 less the bolt holes for the horns.

  • IIRC, the 12 port side of the 2T22 shared a chopper with the 2001 and the Model 3

  • Almost, the 12 port side on the 22 is 14 inches across. The model 7 I have in my shop measured at 17.

  • Ahh very nice. Great video. That sound awesome.

  • Wow! Great video!

  • sounds awesome! That bag looked like it was having a hell of a time holding on though haha.

  • sounds good

  • Nice video Eric! Man that thing sounds great!

  • nice!!!!
