Looks like Bob Villa has a son trying to put in laminate. You find the center of the room and split the difference. and use spacers to get the expansion gap consistent and accurate.3rd transition strips are used where the floor ends. You DO NOT use a last board puller in the middle of the field to tighten up the end joints It will chip the edge. A 6 inch pheonelic block is used. You under cut door jambs and slip the floor under. You don't run shoe molding over the jamb. Get wood po laminate
why do need a framming square i thought your saw would cut straight. FYI the shoe moulding should cover the gap mainly between the base and floor. Have you ever tried returning the 1/4 round on the base. Come down to Naples and try this bullshit. If you goto 239stairs you will quit
Ever hear of splitting the difference on the boards? Why start with a full piece on one wall, and end of with 1/2 on the other side, when it's easy to end of with 3/4 on both sides of the room?
@PorscheORviper Hey, sales are great, I sell everything I get and no I have never done a rent to own and I never will. I'm sick of everybody coming up with all these bs techniques and strategies for selling houses. NOm i put them on the MLS and sell them like every other normal sale in the world. Its not hard. people make this stuff out to be like its a brain science.
