I'm Russian and I thought this was Russian dancing, very similar if it's not. My father was in the Russian army, and when Ishowed him this video he recognized it as dances that soldiers performed, for shows...I;m sure they're just similar...

At least someone knows what's going on. This is nothing like traditional Russian dance. This is 100% Ukrainian folk dance. Look up Hopak on Wikipedia.
