  • the gop has to use fear and hate .. they know that no one would vote for them if they knew their agenda

  • 15:40 lmao

  • And funny enough Bush = Hitler isn't actually all that nutty a position.

Torture? Check for both. Illegal invasions? Check for both. Detaining random people without trials and legal rights? Check for both? Concentration camps? Guantanamo bay anyone? And the list doesn't stop there.

What exactly do you have to DO before the comparison with Hitler IS considered valid? Specifically kill jews? Because fuck any other group that gets genocided? Is that it?

Bush = Hitler is NOT actually nuts.

  • Bill Maher was asked 'isn't there a double standard because the people who were saying 'don't blame video games' after Columbine were saying 'do blame right wing hate speech' after the Gabrielle Giffords shooting?'.

Ironically this is pretty much exactly what Bill Maher was talking about when he mentioned false equivalencies in the media. Video games are not supposed to be real! Fox News and right wing talk radio are! My arse it's a double standard Cooper you stupid media hack!

  • I think if I saw 1:59 walk into a room I'd run, he just looks crazy

  • Lol @ 'Bill Maher sounds off'

  • Lol finally, a semi rational American media person.

  • Glenn beck does create hysteria, he tells his viewers obama is turning this country into nazi germany. And whats intresting is people actually believe this and thats insane

  • @3888799 Berlin was like NYC back then, style and culture-wise (pre-Hitler).

  • Unbelievable. Blames this on the Republicans. Wow.

  • Wow I see people from both sides of the fence with this arrogance that they are just correct in anything they do or think. Yikes this species needs all the luck it can get! I think it's interesting this certain conversation tries real hard to make it seem like all republicans are crazy and nutso haha. Slander WWoooo!

  • "Lincoln had horrible things said about him" "Yeah, and look what happened"..."well, yeah..." Lol!

  • Go back to comedy,Bill........

  • Guns used 2.5 million times a year in self-defense. Law-abiding citizens use guns to defend themselves against criminals as many as 2.5 million times every year -- or about 6,850 times a day.1 This means that each year, firearms are used more than 80 times more often to protect the lives of honest citizens than to take lives. I vote democrat , but i also believe in my right to carry a gun to protect my self

  • My goodness, To hear Hanitty, limbaugh, Beck, and the rest of the shock jocks Yell out "stop finger pointing" is like hearing Charlie Sheen saying "hey, you need to straighten out." It's very comical at best!!! Unfortunately, These right wing screamers who spread fear and hate to anyone living in a trailer, have power that rivals the wave of televangelists of the 80's. They would have REALLY prospered during the Salem witch trials. People please, turn off fox news and pick up a news paper.

  • The Democrats have to cow tow to the NRA because a lot of their constituents have guns. This is why the Dems lost states like Tennessee, Arkansas, West Virginia, and Louisiana. The only way I see a Democrats carry those states again is if a pro-NRA, pro-life, and a Southern politician wins the Democratic nomination. I see someone like Mark Warner carrying a lot of Southern states like Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter did.

  • These conservatives, they want to be known as tough guys. They're girls, schoolgirls, who get hysterical about things.

  • Police cant always be responsible with guns, so how can we expect the common people be responsible. If you look at the wild west that had plenty of guns its wasnt safer it was more dangerous and their were gunfights on a daily basis. How is this security? There was more violence ni the Wild west than actual security. The uS Marshalls had a terrible time keeping order with all the guns. People are not rational. And no peopel shouldnt have guns to scare the government, fear rhe ballot box

  • I'm usually a huge fan of Bill's logic. In fact, I think hes brilliant sometimes.

But here's the thing about the 2nd Amendment (my view anyway): it is meant to provide citizens w/ the power to defend their liberty--their natural rights-- against gov't abuse. A gov't cant oppress a country of armed citizens the way eastern dictators do.

Now, assholes, dont go interpreting that the wrong way. Im not a conspiracy-theorist or comparing US govt to dictatorship. i'm just sayin thats wut its there for.

  • @NiNj4xNUTZz However, you are speaking of a group of citizens who know very little about their government. To arm them in case they feel their government that they know nothing about is abusing them, is counterproductive.

  • @VexonCross Valid point. Give a paranoid, misinformed, irrational tea-bagger an AK47 and we've got problems. But at the same time, isn't that exactly what a gov't needs? -a reason to fear the people it rules? I mean it's like that idea: if every house had a gun in it, crime may decrease b/c criminals think twice before trespassing so as to steal, kill, etc. Of course ur gonna have the occasional loon that doesnt give a fuck. But what're u gonna do? Deny the entire country guns?

  • @NiNj4xNUTZz Works in my country. I mean, they're not banned, but there's no public drive to own a firearm because we don't feel as if we're in constant danger. And still our government fears the people. Not for their lethality, but for their opinion on their performance. The wonders of a system with 9 political parties and no office that carries a veto of any kind.

  • @VexonCross There's no public drive in US to stockpile guns for the sole reason of defending against our govt either. The point is firearms provide an irrefutable sense of security. And each citizen, in my view, has a right to that security if they want it.

Of course, you could argue that guns, when used offensively, threaten security and you'd be right. But in today's modern world, cameras are everywhere. Its only the stupid people we have to worry about.

    idk Its a complicated issue.

  • bill is one of the best.

  • Excellent point about Google - Just Google the guy, see what you find. Go Bill !!!

  • my question is simple. If guns make us safer, why isn't America the safest place on earth?

  • @vealshanker cause they don't u tard, simple answer.

  • @vealshanker If America isn't the safest place on Earth, where is?

  • @Sickopath333 New Zealand xD

  • @XX3DaysXGrace ssshhhhh dont let them know, theyll all come here :(

  • @Sickopath333 .rofl are you serious?try most of western europe, canada, new zealand, south korea, japan, singapore, etc, etc. i cant believe you actually said that.

  • @M10663 Are you serious? Are you really acting like the intelligent person here when you have the typing habits of an illiterate teenager who texts and uses Facebook all day? Especially since you are responding to posts that are by now a month or two old? I doubt that Korea (think Korean War) or Europe (debt crisis) are the best places to live right now. Canada's dollar is worse off than America's, etc., etc. Bill Maher is simply a hypocritical atheist fool with a TV show.

  • @Sickopath333 Europe's bout the same as the USA at the moment. Unemployment rate around 10%. Though most of the European countries still have a batter social security system ofcourse? So, yeah.

  • @vealshanker Mexico has very strict gun control laws, Switzerland has very loose gun control laws. I think I've made my point

  • @AmericanBadass44 Read up on Swiss conscription. That's why they don't feel the need to act like "badasses".

  • @vealshanker have you seen bowling for columbine :)

  • @vealshanker yah thats why all the places with no guns allowed are the safest places right? schools never had shootings right?

  • Anderson's question that compares political rhetoric to violent video games is about the most thoughtful thing I've heard from a person that probably doesn't own a gun about gun violence. Good job, AC.

  • "These conservatives are hysterical!" You are spot on, Bill

  • I don't know which planet you are on, but when were Indian Tourists beaten to death? Sure, some were attacked late at night delivering Pizza's, but your ignorant comment makes me laugh

  • Loughner was crazy period! He wasn't a neo-nazi, he was jewish.... let's just put the blame where it needs to be - with this messed up kid...... no one blames Greenpeace for the Unabomber....i never heard anyone call The Unabomber a left-wing nutjob.... it's only the right that gets blamed.

  • Canada has had only one political shooting done by a Fenian affiliated man in the 1860's

  • Gun murder rate by states (per 100,000). The most violent are Louisiana, Maryland, California, Arkansas, Mississippi, Nevada... The less violent are Vermont (no permit no registration), North Dakota, South Dakota, Hawaii, Maine, NH, Wyoming, Utah...

  • Bill Maher should explain why murder rates in big US cities (mostly ruled by liberals) are 5 or 10 times higher than in any european big city. Why in states like Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Missouri... 60-70% of murders happen in its biggest city.

  • @xaviqaz Are you asking why big cities have higher crime than rural areas? if you think about it longer than 5 minutes you should be able to figure it out. It has nothing to do with liberal or conservative.

  • @Madjacker08 No, american big cities have abnormally high murder rates. The biggest difference between US and european rates is called american big cities.

  • Love Maher. He speaks a lot of truths.

  • i love bill maher. he should run for president. and win.

  • FUCK THE NRA!

  • @ViperRob42 if you dont not understand Guns and gun right dont speak about it

  • @ViperRob42 I feel the sentiment, but the NRA is being sold out by the snakes in the GOP. They are going to reduce this party to ruins and the members should reject the politicizing of their organization. They are now attached to doing the same thing that the democratic party wants to do. So, again, I just want to say that the NRA leadership needs to have a long view strategy, because the short-view is going to destroy a strong organization.

  • Bill a glock 19 is just a handgun not an assault riffle

  • @3star2nr I don't think it matters if it was a Glock 19 or an assault rifle. The dead are just as dead and the injured will never be the same. The POINT is that the fear-mongering and panicky rhetoric of supposed conservative, although they seem radical to me, is causing those with a fragile grip on reality to lock and load.

  • @ciaochowbella i agree with you. it has got out of hand

  • @3star2nr its classified as an assault weapon once you put a large magazine in it.

  • "no healthcare and guns" #smallgovernment

  • no healthcare and guns.

  • Bill Maher is my hero he explains the reasons for these shooting by connected the the hysteria and atmosphere conservatives create, they make the democrats look like enemies of america which is totally absurd these attacks by the republicans are childish and insane group of politicians there is no reason and responsible attitude on the right...

  • @Akaras666possessed Okay, "666possessed".

  • Go go Bill!!!

  • huh? Pakistan shoots leaders fast& furiously... doesn't he remember Benazir Bhutto?

  • @lrtucci he is talking about the developed and so called civilized world(read western)

  • I love the part about smaller government leading to no access to mental health care for those who have no other way of getting it and to easier access to guns.

  • Palin doesn't think she's guilty in the least?

The telling thing would be if Palin and political pundit shows who used gun rhetoric and the teabaggers who brought guns to political rallies - continued to do so after this tragedy. That would indicate they saw NO reasonable risk in what they did and said that might inspire a madman!

IF they instantly discontinue that practice - then their own actions convict them as liars.

Go ahead Palin. Stand up for your past actions. Tote that gun at rallies.

  • Conservatives decry Maher for making associations between the anti-government violent rhetoric of the Right and the violent actions of a man, because they say that it is a big leap of logic, and yet most of their rhetoric is inundated with big leaps of logic. If they want the Left to stop associating their rhetoric with violent acts, they should stop with their own leaps of logic, like describing every piece of legislation progressive's pass as akin to Stalinism. Otherwise they are hypocrites.

  • Bill Maher, as usual, is pretty accurate. Sure there are people in the lunatic fringe of both the left and right wing who would call for violence. That is going to happen no matter what. However, when mainstream, and high profile people, become a mouth piece for violence as a form of dissent, then you have real problems. And as Maher rightly pointed out, the only people with positions of authority or who are mainstream figures who are calling for violence are those on the right wing.

  • Hannity claims to be a Libertarian. O'Reilly claims to be an Independent. A lot of talkers on Right Wing Radio also claim they're Independents too. Many former Bush supporters now call themselves "Independent" because they don't want to admit they voted for a guy who lied us into Iraq and tanked the economy. Some of those types even call Bush a "Liberal". Calling themselves "Independent" is to trick the public into believing they don't have an agenda and the only one that fools is the "news".

  • @SpitfireOFatj lol Hannity is libertarian? ahahah that's the dumbest thing i ever heard, Hannity is a corporate shill and a human garbage, it's an insult for libertarians to claim Hannity-The-Insanity is anything but neocon scum

  • @blackraider777 "it's an insult for libertarians to claim Hannity-The-Insanity is anything but neocon scum"

They don't, HE makes the claim on his radio show. As such he's got people on the Left convinced that Libertarians are Right Wingers of the worse kind. I have to tell them that Libertarians are non-Authoritarian and can be to the Right or the Left just like there are Authoritarians to the Right and Left. That's the nature of the political compass, Hannity is an Authoritarian/Right Liar.

  • "How about this for a gun check? Google. Just google the guy." Maher is the best abstractionist out there. He gets to the heart of things in a real big hurry. Jon Stewart is an expert when it comes to getting things in perspective. Thank God both of these guys are around right now!

  • at about 12:20-14:45 Bill Maher makes a few pretty good points.

Bill Maher is always pretty good at wording his points.

  • CNN gets a Comedian to analyze such a tragic case with so many variables involved... That's funny.

  • @StAnDnWaKeUp Because a Comedian is not afraid to tell you the facts. The media caters to stupid people!!! It a fuck up country when the Comedian like Bill Maher and Jon Stewart is more knowledgeable than fox, cnn, abc, nbc, and the rest of coroporate media!!!

  • @Astupidamerican1 I guess Comedians run the news crooks run the White House. I feel for the honest everyday American.

  • @StAnDnWaKeUp i feel sorry for brainwashees like yourself

  • AIPAC whore, just like the 534 members of Congress....

    This guy screams FAKE ATHEIST...

  • Bill Maher is a left wing dick that wont's to tell you what to do,But don't tell hem not to smoke pot or be a fag!!!If the government stop fuck the people over we will stop talking shit and the left don't kill people what???

  • @killergames187

    you don't watch his show.

    Lol?

  • @killergames187 Won'ts to tell you what to do? But don't tell hem not to smoke pot of be a f**? Stop fuck the people over or we will stop talking shit and the left don't kill people what?

Amazing how these people have the worst grammar possible.

  • He wasn't a right wing anything bill, if anything he was a bit more lefty. Sorry... ask anyone who actually knew him. Nice try though. It's not even a political killing. He was also an occultist. Bill Maher = " I don't get why people want their country back?" What a jackass. Yeah, Bill... you sure as hell don't get it!. He denies the fact that this country is far far away from it's original intent, and run by owl worshippers and Terrorists on both side of the isle.

  • @conroyalby

"He denies the fact that this country is far far away from it's original intent, and run by owl worshippers and Terrorists on both side of the isle. "

    Oh shit son

    You are batshit insane.

  • @YoungSpotUBrock No... you're just an idiot. Go watch your controlled media. The grown ups are discussing the real world.

  • @YoungSpotUBrock this video won't let me link to it, but if you want to inform yourself do a youtube search for "Bohemian Grove - Alex Jones" it's an hour and a half long movie.

  • @conroyalby Doesn't matter, he shot a Democrat. Saying it wasn't a political killing is stupid, he went after a politician. Stupidity is taking over America.

  • @rdchili69 Did he kill her for her politics, and where is that proof?

  • @rdchili69 More like insanity. This guy is nuts. He was heavily using some hard core mind altering drugs and practicing Santeria or voodoo or something like that. He hardly fits the bill of a right wing anything . It's only political if the parties want it to be political. Which of course they will. How else are they gonna go after your guns? :) Don't let a god tragedy go to waste. Sick media, Sick politicians. They are scared of the people. Left or right, neither is for the people.

  • @conroyalby I don't think drugs had anything to do with this, the guy looks like he has some type of personality disorder. There is an intense lack of empathy on his face, he almost looks proud and arrogant in that photo. I would say either a sociopath or a narcissist.

I think this is interesting because in congress we definitely have people with personality disorders themselves. This could explain where some of this rhetoric comes from and why their fanbases are so devotional.

  • ya dun read er hear to well do ya....

he aint sayin she was responsible for anythin, he's sayin that the current talk on the right is hysterical with 'dun tread on me' and god n guns an' other bullshit, which palin is an advocate of......

did the above 'hick' help you understand what the word responsibility means now?

  • maher has talked about killing republicans as well...

im sure i've heard him saying kill people on many occasions.

  • @tntbadman If he did, it was in a satirical, comedic context. If you think Palin was satirically enticing violence, then you're an idiot.

  • @PullyElbow27

if you think that someone who worships the devil and is on drugs cares about the context of a comment... then you are an idiot. its hilarious how bill gets away with it cause its 'satirical' when he is very serious about killing people in his rants... he might be a comedian but he clearly says that certain people should die... and i dont give a shit about sarah or bill. this back and forth will only hurt everyone else... these rich ass people will live good no matter what.

  • @tntbadman Oh please, it's all done in a satricial fashion. I suggest a pscyhological evaluation if you seriously think the "devil" exists. Everyone uses drugs.

Care to direct me to some of these rants where Bill is inciting violence while being as serious as Palin, Beck, or other right-wingers?

  • @tntbadman He doesn't believe in god, meaning he also doesn't believe in the devil you idiot. There is no devil without God.

  • @rdchili69

wtf are you saying... read before you just spew your bullshit.

who are you even talkin too... bout idiot.

  • lol the leftists are losing it and it's hilarious to watch. Bill mahr is just like one of those trolls you saw claiming palin was responsible for the shooting. They'll take any tragedy and politicize it with no facts at all. Of course what did all these clowns say when the fort hood shooter went on a rampage? "let's get the fact and stay calm" Hypocrites

  • @HilarityBribo Realize what you're saying. If a Muslim or another minority made the same poster Palin did and put it on display, they would be arrested with contemplating murder, terrorism, etc, within a day. You're seriously telling me that obviously making gun references to gun fanatics isn't an innuendo?! Really?!

  • @PullyElbow27 Remember how the liberals made the same kind of poster before Palin? Probably not, you're head is too far up your own ass.

  • @Nixmix24 Could you direct me to any of these posters?

  • @PullyElbow27 Google "democrat target map" in the images section. The red and blue one with targets all over the US is what you're looking for. I can send you a link as well. So no, they would not be arrested with contemplating murder, terrorism, etc, within a day. If anything, the first people to be charged with any kind of crime would obviously be the political right as we have seen from recent events. The fact that you don't even know about the Democrat's target map says it all.

  • @Nixmix24 Ah, I see.

The difference between the two is that the right wing is full of gun-loving uneducated hillbillies who own an "us-vs-them" mentality. Just as you responded to my original comment, you assumed I was someone who supported democrats. I generally agree more with the left than the right, but their both corrupt. The right-wing is completely owned by corporations (left wing is majorly owned) , serving in the interests of corporations, not you.

  • @PullyElbow27 That's your opinion. The left are just as guilty. In fact, I just made a video about it and I'll send you the link. Neither side of the isle is perfect and there are nut jobs no matter where you go. But just because the Right supports the constitutional right to bare arms while the left wants to ignorantly take guns away, that doesn't mean that the Right has the corner on gun toting maniacs. Loughner was a liberal as described by his friends. Most gun violence is from urban areas.

  • @Nixmix24 And Loughner probably would have never gotten a gun, if, say, people whom want to get a permit or buy a gun undergone a background check and a psychological examination. But hey, fuck that! Let's just sell flamethrowers, rocket launchers, DU ammo, and other weapons because we have the right to bare arms.

The most inhumane and disgusting things in the history of civilization has been done in the name of some religion, and the right seems to be a fundamentalist Christian movement.

  • @PullyElbow27 Haha oh wow you must be drinking the kool-aid in massive amounts if you think that Loughner's actions were because of the right to bare arms. That's like saying the spoon made Rosie O'Donnell fat. How do you not see the holes in your logic?

How about Stalin? Atheist... Hitler? Also an Atheist.. I believe those two take the top spots when it comes to the most disgusting and inhumane people in history. That would be the Left, buddy.

  • @Nixmix24 Once again, Stalin was an atheist, but he didn't do the atrocities he committed in his lack of belief in a deity. If you could find me any quotes that said anything along those lines, I would love to hear it.

HITLER, on the other hand, thought he was doing the work of God by exterminating Jews.

"Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord."

  • @PullyElbow27 Both Stalin and Hitler were Atheists. You can stretch the truth and blame their horrible actions on religion but the fact of the matter is, they did it for themselves. I assume you're an Atheist and that's why you're throwing this whole irrelevant religion thing into the mix. If you believed in a God, how could you believe that this God would actually want people to do those things? These are actions of lunatics sometimes using religion as a facade. They are doing the work of Satan

  • @Nixmix24 Hitler was a Roman Catholic, but you're correct on Stalin. Religion is more relevant than probably anything in these discussions. Once again, there is nothing anybody can do "in the name of atheism", because atheism does not entail a dogma like religion does. That's like saying Stalin did what he did because he didn't play cards. It's absolute quackery.

  • @PullyElbow27 Hitler, although he was brought up and confirmed as a Catholic, had abandoned Christianity by the time he was in control of Germany. Nazism was quite explicitly anti-Christian, something people easily forget. The authorities “tolerated” Christianity so long as they kept it private and did not teach it to children, which they considered child abuse. Nazi's said themselves they were atheist. Far more terrible things have been done in the name of ideals Atheists hold.

  • @Nixmix24 And what ideals are derived from atheism? Enlighten me, if you will.

  • @Nixmix24 Stop getting your news from Fox News or any other mainstream medium, because it's nothing more than propaganda. Go read books or independent news mediums.

  • @PullyElbow27 Stop using rhetoric when you don't have a viable retort. Where did I use information from Fox? That's what i though. Nice try though.

  • @Nixmix24 The United States has the best healthcare? What other misinformed nationalist idea would that come from?

  • @PullyElbow27 Why do you think everybody comes here when they need medical attention instead of staying in their own country or going elsewhere. Why do you think we have the best doctors and the best facilities. It's because we don't have socialized medicine like the rest of the world. Look it up and stop using Fox as a crutch when you don't have a real rebuttal.

  • @Nixmix24 Because we pretend like we have the best medical care. "Socialized" medical care is infinitely better than what we have now; you might be able to get great care here, but good luck trying to pay off the ten of thousand dollar bill you wracked up because you can't afford health insurance. Universal health care is so much better than what we have now. The only people whom are benefiting off are the CEOs of these pharmaceuticals/Medicare/Medicaid/'etc.

  • @Nixmix24 Loughtner probably wouldn't have been able to get a gun permit if a he was forced to undergo a psychological examination. But keeping weapons out of the hands of crazy people doesn't seem to be an issue for you (protip: religious people are crazy).

Politics is a facade for average people to think they actually have a say in how our government works. The majority of politicians are owned by corporations and serve the interests of corporations, NOT YOU.

  • @PullyElbow27 It's possible that he wouldn't have legally purchased a gun. Take it from a person who lived in a place where guns were illegal for a few years, that doesn't stop the crazies from getting guns. Drugs are illegal, yet anyone can get them. (protip: crazy people are crazy)

We live in a republic. If you actually believe you have no say, then why are you arguing with me at all? It doesn't matter right? Then how about you stop fighting with people about it and take you hate elsewhere?

  • @Nixmix24 Yes, it would have reduced his chances of getting a gun. Is that not better than just giving him a gun? Perhaps gun violence wouldn't be so damn prevalent in Mexico if the ATF wasn't giving guns to Mexican drug cartels.

Drug prohibition is the source of suffering, not drugs. If you actually cared or wanted to reduce suffering from drugs, alcohol would be the starting drug, not cannabis. Cannabis is one of, if not the safest and most useful substances on this planet, it's banned.

  • @PullyElbow27 He wasn't just given a gun. Do you own a gun? You do realize that background check go into it and that there's a waiting period right? Also, I'm fine with strict regulations and keeping guns out of the hands of criminals. So stop crying about that. The Mexicans would get their guns from anywhere by any means. They don't care about the law. Making them illegal wouldn't stop them.

Are you kidding me? you actually believe drugs don't kill people and cause suffering? You're a fool.

  • @Nixmix24 I'm not saying that drugs don't kill and cause suffering, however, the deaths and suffering from prohibition is much worse than the actual drugs. Instead of prohibiting drugs, we accept the issue that it's an issue, and we EDUCATE our kids, instead of lying to them, about the dangers of drugs (kids are told cannabis is as dangerous as heroin; do you think kids are going to trust the government when they find out this isn't true?). Instead of locking people up, research the drugs

  • @Nixmix24 for all medical benefits, and let people do whatever the fuck they want with their own consciousness. If you're convicted of a cannabis offense in most places, people cannot get federal school aid, can't get bank loans, it will be harder to get a job, etc; meanwhile, if you get belligerently drunk and kill your wife, feel free to get federal aid, any loans, and a job.

  • @Nixmix24 We put the $80+ billion dollars we spend trying to prohibit and outlaw the drugs into prevention, rehabilitation, and education, and the drug issue will decrease, just like what we're seeing with tobacco. Tobacco use is at the lowest in history, and it's not because of prohibition. It's because of education, successful, honest warnings from the government, and an increase of prices.

  • @Nixmix24 .are you insane\?the peraon behind the virginia tech shooting had next to nothing in terms of background checks, despite having a medical record for mental health issues rofl.yes i agree that america has an amazing healthcare industry because its all private, hwoever it doesnt particulary help whe people cant even afford it.

  • @Nixmix24 Once again, this is not a left vs right thing. Politics are moot; they are not here to care about you. The right abuses the stupid fucks that are religious people to get what they want while robbing them blind, and the left needs to act helpless. The only people winning here are the corporations, bankers, and other people whom are wealthy. Put the stupid fucking politics down, it's pointless.

  • @PullyElbow27 This is a Left verses Right thing when you try to attribute the crazy actions of crazy people to the policies of the Right. Like I said, both parties have their flaws, that's why I'm not a registered Republican. I have conservative values but the people in office (Left and Right) are usually wealthy elitists who only care about their own gain. Again that's the LEFT as well as the Right. However, you can't divorce the subject of politics from this discussion.

  • @Nixmix24 Hitler was a Roman Catholic, and wanted to be praised as a God. The man acted with religious fanaticism.

To say that Stalin being an atheist has anything to do with his actions is like saying anyone who doesn't collect rocks does everything wrong because they don't collect rocks. It's absolutely absurd.

  • @PullyElbow27 You already made this comment before. However, you are saying that religion caused the worst issues of humanity. I'm saying that the worst was done by Atheists which is not saying that Atheism is the cause, it's saying religion ISN'T. Your argument can go both ways. When it comes down to it, religion didn't tell people to do stupid things unless you're muslim. They were crazy people doing crazy things and if they were inspired by anyone, it was Satan, not God.

  • @Nixmix24 Religion has caused the worse atrocities of humanity because people who committed said atrocities have used it for justification for their actions, i.e. Hitler wanting to do God's work. Peoples' beliefs influence their actions; if you genuinely believe in a deity (which has never been proven to exist), then you'll act just as irrationaly

Oh, of course not Christianity. Christianity is the perfect religion and all other religions and all other gods (2,800+ are false). Especially Islam.

  • @PullyElbow27 Again. Religion didn't cause Hitler (the Atheist) to do anything. Hitler did what Hitler wanted.

The lack of a deity has also never been proven FYI.

When did I say anything about Christianity or other religions besides the Muslim religion? I'm saying that while there might be other crazy religions out there, Islam encourages killing in the name of their God while most religions don't. But of course, being the leftwing radical you are, you'll defend Islam before you defend Christ.

  • @Nixmix24 You're trolling, aren't you? I find it hard to believe that anybody can be this dumb.

  • @Nixmix24 calling hitler an athiest is completely irrelevant. chirsitans, muslims, buddhists, atheists, etc, etc commit crimes, murder, war, hate, abuse, etc, etc.its the bible reading ignorant scum in america that rush off to war,oh ho moral and noble they truly are.

  • @Nixmix24 You know what is also prevalent among urban areas? Drug trade. You want to reduce violence in the world? Legalize drugs. Over 40,000 Mexicans have died since 2006, and yet nobody seems to fucking care because they're not Americans.

  • @PullyElbow27 Haha yeah ok. Good idea. This coming from the person who thinks that legalizing guns and having unlimited access to them is a bad thing. What's the difference? Drugs kill far more people than guns. I'll tell you the difference. Gun's don't impair your judgement. You can't OD because of too many guns. Accidents happen with drugs and guns but there are far more drug related accidents which end up in death. You're only strengthening my argument. Who have these problems again? Liberals

  • @Nixmix24 Whops, I'm done. You really don't get it, do you? Stop with this fucking "us-vs-them" mentality.

Alcohol and tobacco, by the definition of the DEA's scheduling, should be scheduled as the highest priority, yet they aren't even scheduled at all. Meanwhile, cannabis, LSD, psilocybin, iboga, other psychedelics, etc ALL have ridiculous potential for medicine. Want to know why they're illegal? Pharmaceuticals! Do you know what type of medication people are given for opiate withdraw?

  • @PullyElbow27 I'm not saying that I think it's right or that it makes sense that alcohol and tobacco are legal while weed isn't. I'm saying that making everything legal wont help anybody. Being illegal, the drugs you mentioned still ruin lives. Sure, you can blame the Pharmaceuticals for those drugs not being readily available to stupid people who would abuse them, but the bottom line is, those companies are the reason why we have the best healthcare in the world. Stop crying about corporations.

  • @Nixmix24 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.

The best healthcare in the world? Are you insane? The United States is far from the #1 in just about anything other than military, which is an absolute disgrace.

Education? Nope. Healthcare? Nope. Civil rights? Nope.

Seriously, I don't know how you manage to live every day if you think corporations are the greatest thing on this planet. Wake the fuck up guy; they are robbing your ass blind and you're defending them. Stop watching FOX.

  • @PullyElbow27 Yeah? How about you give me reason to believe otherwise? Oh right, because you can't.

You make quite a lot of assumptions based on your own ignorance and bigotry. When did I say we have the best education? when did I say I think corporations are the greatest thing on this planet? You can't make any real arguments so you run to the typical talking points and rhetoric of the left and then claim that I watch Fox because I haven't been brainwashed by MSNBC like yourself.

  • @Nixmix24 .msnbc is as bad as fox you idiot.fox news is a joke as are most of the mainstrem news channels.the lack of a diety has never been proven?rofl too easy.its never been proven int he first place fool.theres a big mental gap for inferior people like you who,who say there mght be/is a god and hten following a religion like christianity or islam.

  • @Nixmix24 We are the only industrial country on this planet that doesn't have health care, and it's absolutely destroying our economy. Medicare and Medicaid need to be scrapped for universal health care for all.

  • @PullyElbow27 We have healthcare, dumb ass. Not having it doesn't destroy economies, having SOCIALIZED healthcare does though. I'm done talking to you right now. You can't stick to a subject. Once you get cornered you run to other talking points and cry about other issues that have nothing to do with the original comment. Go educate yourself and then we can have a civil conversation.

  • @Nixmix24 .evbery single country in the devoped world has socialized healthcare fool, every single one except america and you see their economies imploding because of that/rofl go back to school.

  • @Nixmix24 Methadrone, a synthetic opiate. That's like taking a synthetic ethanol for alcohol withdraw. You know what eliminates opiate withdraw symptoms? Iboga, LSD. You know what eliminates alcohol withdraw symptoms? LSD, psilocybin. You know what causes NATURAL-CELL DEATH in some cancers? Cannabanoids found uniquely in the CANNABIS (MARIJUANA) plant.

Let's ban caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, sugar, and every other psychoactive substance/activity. While we're at it, let's ban spinning in a circle

  • @PullyElbow27 You're not making any real points.. If you want to make the argument that drugs should be legal, you should stop making the argument that guns should be illegal. There are many uses for the gun just as there are many uses for drugs. My argument is that drugs are MORE dangerous than guns and legalizing more harmful drugs only makes the problem worse.

  • @Nixmix24 My stance on drug prohibition and gun prohibition are not related in the least.

The MOST HARMFUL DRUG is alcohol, not heroin, and it is legal.

Your "argument" is not substantiated by any evidence. Heroin is a medication invented by Bayer pharmaceuticals in the late 1800's to cure cough.

Cocaine was used as a local anesthetic in the 1800.

How does legalizing drugs make the problems worse? Prohibition is supposed to reduce drug use, and it has actually increased it.

  • @Nixmix24 In the early 2000's, Portugal merely decriminalized ALL drugs, including heroin, meth, etc. As a result, DRUG USE HAS DROPPED ACROSS THE BOARD, people seeking or in rehabilitation has increased, drug violence has DECREASED, etc.

Give me examples of drugs causing more harm than guns, because drugs aren't causing the harm, drug prohibition is. When the prohibition of a substance is more harmful to society than the drugs themselves, something is fundamentally wrong.

  • @Nixmix24 The War on Drugs is not for the safety of citizens, for if it was, alcohol would be banned, since it is consistently labeled the most dangerous drug to a society, outdoing EVERY illicit substance. The War on Drugs is here for no other reason than civil control.

  • @PullyElbow27 That's your opinion and I don't care your conspiracies. In fact, I'm down with legalizing weed, if I'm to be honest. But again, you need to stop making the issue that guns should be banned while drugs should be legalized when we all know that drugs already cause more harm than guns.

  • @Nixmix24 Along with the target map, Palin talked about second amendment remedies, which to a bunch of uneducated, bigoted gun-totting southerners, is a rallying call for using guns to remedy the solution.

  • @PullyElbow27 Again, Loughner was a liberal. Most gun violence is in the urban (liberal) parts of the US caused by liberals. And again, of course there are crazies on both sides but look at the numbers. You can throw that ignorant blanket over all the the supporters of the Right but that only shows your own uneducated bigotry. The most violent attacks are from the Left. Look it up.

  • @Nixmix24 They're*

  • @HilarityBribo

    Sry bro,

Not sure wtf you are talking about. Maybe you just feel insecure about the right's position...?

  • I think it is easy. We give all the rich white people guns and shoot all the poor people starting with black people, then mexicans, then asians, then jews. Done and done.

  • Who the hell is Bill Maher?Seriously.........a washed up comic?

  • @littlequeen64 He's a talk show host that probably knows quite a lot more than you do concerning anything political.

  • @littlequeen64 If you do not know who he is, why are you even here? People are stupid.

  • @littlequeen64 A left-wing radical nut job.

  • Whats wrong with being anti-government? Governments and their officials kill far more innocent people every year than lone nuts do. Why does Maher come down on the side of government? What a jerk.

  • @66605 violence justifies violence? Somebody has a rather confused idea of ethics.

  • @lorezapocalypse

Maher's condemnation of people who are anti-government is off the mark because government kills far more innocent people than lone nuts do. This is a fact, not support for violence. Why doesn't Maher condemn both?

  • @66605 Yeah and capitalism has killed even more (governments presently act as proxies for capitalist interests). And the anti government meme is pushed by right wing think tanks funded by ruthless right wing capitalists - who also fund people like Fox, Savage and Limbaugh . The thought that the only thing driving this nut to kill was his 'mental instability (his target is apparently just a random group and has NOTHING to do with anything he may have heard) ' is completely and utterly insane!

  • well said Bill.

  • SARAH PALIN 2012.."DON'T RETREAT,RELOAD,GUNS COUNTRY" CAMPAIGN..BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE FOX NETWORK....but it will not all be spelled correctly ofcourse when they start the campaign.......hahaha

  • @thatsMYbeef Of course because Conservatives and spelling/grammar is like mixing oil and water.

  • When I see the rubbish you Americans have to put up with in your lives I am glad I live in an almost gun free Australia, where private gun ownership is illegal. . I think the problem, on every level with America is Paranoia. It's obviously too late to get rid of your guns, but if you did you would all sleep better at night. That 2nd amendment you all rave about protecting is causing you a hell of a lot of pain!
