  • Preach!

  • This MUST be integrated into the educational ciriculum!!!! Hear that Obama???don't change a damn thing make the one you have now work. To change the United States of America would be a crime against humanity. Hopefully there's a charge of Treason.

    Dave The Canadian Capitalist

  • Now a protest is effective if you make the old country work not make a new one.

The Tea Party wants to make the old America work while the Occupy Wall Street protest wante to make a whole nw country

  • @Atlasshrugging18 Last year in Memphis, TN a group of Occupy protesters and Tea Party protestors met in a town hall meeting. While they disagreed on many things, fundamentally they were fighting against the same thing: corruption in the government.

  • @Amar7605 Yeah, you know I have to say the OWS were protesting bailouts and tea pary protesteing govt interference in the economy. Nevertheless they do have the same aim fighting corruption in govt but in differing methods, The OWS want to try to fundalmental transform the counrty and the tea party wants to fundelmentally restore.

  • Jack Webbs made more sense than any president since at least Teddy Roosevelt.

  • Unfortunately, the baby boomers won and the generation of Joe Fridays lost.

  • DAMM DOPERS

  • the guys have expressed my feelings exactly........you work you receive simple equazion

  • People standing in line for one job and selling apples on the street corner. If things keep going the way they have been, we'll be resorting back to that.

  • A 4-year-old that weighs 8-1/2 pounds would be dead. Great speech, otherwise. :)

  • @Yankee10x NO ARMS OR LEGS ! OH SHIT I'M GONNA HERE ABOUT THAT ONE.

  • sweet! i had almost forgotten those lines!

  • A valuable message for all OccuTards.

  • wait the 1:25 mark... I should know better

  • the 1:28 mark is what I gotta keep reminding myself

  • very good vid.

  • What is striking here is how so many of the thing Joe Friday enumerated were brought about by big government, Polio vaccine, civil rights, military actions, better educated, BTW, it was reported today that traffic fatalities are down despite the fact that more Americans are driving than ever before, attributable to safer cars. Cars that were mandated by big government over the screaming objections of auto makers and the GOP.

  • One of the few friday speeches in which Gannon got to chime in. And it is here that I say, good night and God bless, Harry Morgan.

  • In Webb We Trust!

  • I miss this show. I liked Joe Friday's lectures even though I didn't agree with everything he said. In the 1960's there was a huge problem with racism (there still is) and with political assasinations and the Vietnam war was a waste of life - a stupid search and destroy strategy in which troops walked out into the jungle looking to be ambushed. The kind of weapons that would have won that war didn't exist - though laser guided smart bombs were arriving. Etc...

  • OWS leeches demanding a free ride need this speech.

  • @twiggy148 That's just a straw-man argument. Our taxation levels meed to be returned the the levels they were when this country was prosperous and strong. We need to reinstate Glass-Steigal and enact meaningful banking and real estate regulations or we will find ourselves with an even worse economy. Until we strengthen our consumer class (the middle class) we are not going to see a vibrant economy come back. We must shift the tax burden closer to where it was during the baby boom.

  • @TheSuciocabrone not straw man its something that should and could be done

  • From Episode 42 - "The Big Departure" (Written by Preston Wood; Aired March 7, 1968). This is such a beautiful speech and it is as relevant today as when it first blessed our airwaves 43 years ago and will be so 43 years from now. God bless America and the creative minds who seek to improve her.

  • Did the older guy play on MASH ?

  • @jityr2 i think he did, Thought he looked familiar

  • @jityr2 Yeah he did. R.I.P. Harry Morgan.

  • Man...this is some timeless stuff...

  • Comment removed

  • What an embarrassment. Hard to believe the man who wrote, produced, directed and starred in the original DRAGNET could get involved in a scene like this: a long banal speech, both cops nodding their heads in agreement, the perps saying nothing. Forget political or social issues here; I'm just addressing the issue of good television; and this is bad television to the same degree that the original DRAGNET was GREAT television. "You should know, Jack." "Huh?" "You directed them." Dum de dum dum!

  • my sentiments aren't too far from this, but i think joe was counting time from before columbus, a clear mistake in scripting.

  • Damn auto punctuation. My fist sentence was a question.

  • WTF is going on with these comments. In trying to read the argument, but it seems half of the posts are missing.

  • Awesome

  • a good message for those protesters on Wall Street

  • @2274brian no it's not. there's a big difference between the 1960s and 2011.

  • @tedwilli9 Yes it is. Poverty is still a minute problem in America, it's a way of life in about half the world. Not to mention most of these kids are using the technological advances that have been developed by the corporations that they seem to hate.

  • What episode is this from?

  • @rasalghul5555 About the level of response I'd expect from a hockey-playing Maple leafer.

  • @JohnKFisher

I know you hate this but more and more guys like me are seeing the hypocrisy of political correctness and not allowing that to be a buffer for honest discourse. For too long we have allowed that excuse to hinder candid truth

BTW - since you don't understand "Strawman" I will give you an example. When you decide I am Canadian even though I live in LA - you are making a bad, inaccurate hockey-playing Maple leafer strawman!

  • @rasalghul5555 Hm. Let me try it. You're just a canadian duck lover! Why don't you go and kiss a duck... back in TORONTO?

nah, not as much fun. I mean, I just made that up. MAYBE you're canadian, and might even bang ducks, though I have no basis for that...

Too bad. Well, I mean call me gay or a PETA supporter or whatever if you want. About as effective as Canadian duck lover though I'd think, but I guess if all you can do is yell at imaginary people, It says a lot about your argument.

  • @JohnKFisher

Yeah - I didn't think you could respond intelligently about my challenge to you about your "strawman" statements that you continued to use repeatedly. I guess you are one of those ppl that use words and when someone calls you out on it you cower and turn to some other topic entirely.

I'll give you another chance..care you explain yourself about the "strawman" comment you made? LMAO!

  • @rasalghul5555 Heh, yes. Everyone reading can see that _I'M_ the one dodging the issues with straw men and nonsense. Your replies were confusion and lies. At that point I realized you had nothing but buzzwords dishonesty. and this just became fun. I'm not sure what's more fun: the infantile lashing with silly "insults", or the fact that you actually, honestly, seem to think you look clever by insulting a fake enemy that only exists inside your head. Both? Pretty damn fun. :-D

  • @JohnKFisher

You must be getting tired because not only are your replies incoherent blatherings - but now I can smell fear and desperation at your THIRD time repeating nonsense about "strawmen"

Pray tell - give us ONE example of where I am "dodging the issues with straw men..."

We are all waiting - this should be good!

  • @rasalghul5555 Seriously? You decided I support PETA, and then attack me for supporting PETA. What... what do you think straw man means? I'm starting to feel like I'm beating up the retarded kid.

  • @rasalghul5555 This is fun! Make a poorly crafted reply again. Who's my little debate champion? You are! You're my little debate champion!

  • @rasalghul5555 Oh I'm not gay, as a matter of fact, though I appreciate your interest. But again, nice straw man. (You probably don't know what that means. See! You would be perfect for a forensics lesson! Just like Pygmalion. But somehow I doubt you know your Shaw.) But you're adorable in the sense that a puppy is adorable when he thinks he's people. It's just cute.

  • @JohnKFisher

Yes, yes, you keep repeating yourself - we all know you think I am adorable and cute - I am told that all day by chicks - I guess you are no exception...

  • @rasalghul5555 oh ALL DAY LONG I'm sure! (wink)

  • @rasalghul5555 Oh. My. God. You are ADORABLE. You can't even attempt to argue, so you put together the worst straw man in the history of debate. It's like watching a little kid try to work the big boy telephone. I want to take you home and start teaching you forensics just to see if I can. It'll be a grand experiment! I'll be Henry Higgins, and you'll be my little Eliza Doolittle! God DAMN you're adorable!

  • "You think you have it rough being sent over to Vietnam or the threat of nuclear extermination--that's nothing, we had to fight REAL wars against enemies we could SEE, using weapons that COULD be used, and targets we could HIT!

"So don't go all enlightenment on us, we can confuse you with half-truth sob-stories and devalue your opinions AND your rights--including your self-esteem, you ungrateful, no-good icky-poo lazy bastards, you make me SICK!"

    Classic indoctrination-media.

  • This guy's a fucking neocon-Nazi if there ever was one.

  • Anybody that likes this show is a conservative pussy and hates the 60's and weed.

  • @rigojr26

This is the REAL reason you should never talk to cops! LOL

  • @rigojr26

What would Friday say about the Crips and the Bloods?

  • This should be shown in every 9th grade "social studies"(lol) class in America!!

  • ehh this guy does not know what he is talking about, he's a commericial that's all. A media man, a twit

    an ignorant twit

  • Dragnet was one of the best T.V. shows ever made and Joe Friday was the man but what a load of bullshit this speech is!

  • Some fucking ugly kids.

  • Actually Harry (changed from "Henry") Morgan, the actor who played Joe Friday's partner wasn't Bill Gannon, but Frank Smith.

Wait--just now checked. You're right, the character's name WAS Bill Gannon. Why am I thinking "Frank Smith"?

  • I like to watch the older TV shows, such as "Dragnet," "Hawaii Five-O," "Kojak," "Mannix," "Cannon," and yes even sitcoms like "All in the Family" and "The Jeffersons." In these shows, you get messages that resonate throughout the ages.

With the exception of today's rendition of "Hawaii Five-O," "CSI," or maybe some "Criminal Minds," I hardly watch anything except sports. The TV shows of today belong in the junkyard... not much in terms of messages, but plenty of filth and other mindrot.

  • @StukInBuf Yeah, we haven't watched TV in 2 years and honestly don't miss it.

  • It was a great show. But what a load of feel good propaganda.

  • ...LSD, wasn't that the CIA's MJ 12 answer to

~the anti war movement from about 1968 onward, to protect the profits of the military industrial complex kill the innocent and indenture the limited freedom out of the tax cows.

=don't count on minds that hate or mind that empower them with your culpable tax dollar to improve , serve , protect or preserve anything you need to survive, just hasn't happen in the 8 mllenium since the homo sapien's mutagen was introduce; such is reciprocal destruction

  • Damn, I'm asuming most people thumbed this up because of how incredibly stupid it is right? Am I right in thinking we're all stoned and find it really funny.

  • I so wish Joe Friday was around today to give the smack down to the self-indulgent, self-entitled, emo, pussy, liberal, fag, soft and fuzzy, assholes shit heads we have walking around in our society today - and that is just the douches in high school

  • @rasalghul5555 +1 on that...

  • @rasalghul5555 The baby boomer / hippie generation are the biggest cry baby parasites in American history. They think the world owes them everything. They and their ideology(modern liberalism) leached off their parents generation and now they leach off of their kid's and grand kid's generation. Most of the social decay, and perversion in our society such as gay marriage and ever expanding government entitlements had its genesis in this arrogant generation of fools!

  • @rasalghul5555 Most people like you are soft fags who hide behind the harsh political views because they are more afraid than us soft liberals.

  • @theindiekidable

Huh? - Look stoner, go rethink what you just wrote and come back when you have a coherent thought

  • @rasalghul5555 Hey, have you seen all the protestors in Middle East? Are they right-wing? No the liberals and leftists. All people on the right are either cowards, cheats or criminals.

  • @theindiekidable

First of all - I do not care about Right or Left - there is bullshit on both sides as well as good points on either side. I wish people would stop rooting for "their team" and admit partisan pussies are ruining politics today. Instead of addressing problems out pussy politicians and their die hard followers play "blame the other party" all the time. Meanwhile ppl like me who make decisions based on COMMON FUCKIN SENSE are left paying taxes and making sure the wheels stay on.

  • @rasalghul5555

It's not sports, it's gambling: i.e. THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS!!!

  • @rasalghul5555

    Here's what Friday would say:

"Common sense of sheep to the slaughter. Where was your "common sense" when government was giving away morgtages like no tomorow? Sure it was a con-job; but OH, NO, you were too blinded by the dollar-signs in your eyes to worry about that; whenever anyone tried to run for office on a budget, you'd call him Chicken-Little and vote for the guy who promised you the most, nevermind the cost. Well it's time to pay the piper, and he doesn't take checks!

  • @SovereignStatesman

Why do you keep equating Joe Friday (and me) with bankers? Are you one of those retards that HAVE to have ppl on certain "teams" so you can argue about the team and not the individual? BTW, I wish all those jewy thieves get what they deserve which is not a bailout...

  • @theindiekidable

    Ron Paul?

  • @rasalghul5555

Sure, government's the answer to government-caused problems. Works every time.

  • @SovereignStatesman

yeah yeah - just keep shaking your fist at the MAN the rest of your life like a spoiled brat teen

  • @rasalghul5555

Oh yeah those bailouts are a MYTH LOL

  • @SovereignStatesman

Keep raging against the MAN - that will make you the REBEL you wish you were. You are such a genius that thinks outside the box and such an original thinker - just like every other homo that is a rebel while living in his mom's basement.

  • @rasalghul5555 Fag, huh? Looks like someone didn't listen to the part about prejudice in this speech you're praising.

  • @JohnKFisher

Uhhh OK.....not sure what your point is but I am sure you thought very long and hard to come up with one so I will give you the benefit of the doubt

  • @rasalghul5555 That's two incidences of comprehension failure from you. Shame. Of course, looking at your channel, you rant about ghetto negroes, too, in addition to your mention of fags here, so I guess I shouldn't expect a particularly high level of comprehension of much of anything.

  • @JohnKFisher

You're getting all confused with your little pea sized brain - it was YOU that brought up the word "fags" not me...let's not revise history too much here - even though you are debating someone far superior in intelligence then you.

BTW - I refuse to be shackled by the stifling politically correct discourse that cares less about the truth but only cowers in the corner whenever someone cries they are offended - whether it is legit or just an excuse - deal with it

  • @rasalghul5555 It does amuse that you didn't realize we all can see your "...emo, pussy, liberal, fag..." comment. Hell, it seems you didn't even notice I was replying to that in the first place, which SURELY smacks of that superior intellect you were going on about. While you deride my intelligence and insist upon your own, you're 0 for 2: First reply showing you couldn't follow a discussion, Second time lying about a quote that is there for all to see. I think that speaks for itself, kiddo.

  • @rasalghul5555 (p.s. funny how you're defending your use of the word and saying you "refuse to be shackled" against those who are offended... while simultaneously saying you didn't use it. If you don't want to keep embarrassing yourself at forensics, you'd be better off picking one argument and sticking with it. I recommend the one that isn't disproven by just glancing at the top of the page, but hey, it's your argument.)

  • @JohnKFisher

read slower - you are getting yourself all tripped up. You want to believe that I hate gay ppl and black ppl and that I am the stereotypical whitey bogeyman that fruity liberal cunts have been crying about for years.

The truth is I only detest the whiny, pussies that look for excuses that they are being repressed by the MAN when they only want an excuse to be a lazy leech of society. Break the shackles of political correctness - many more like me are tired of its hypocrisy

  • @rasalghul5555 hmm, I wonder how they got that way?

  • @rasalghul5555 Yeah, and the way I see myself having negative emotions towards humanity, I would like to hear his insight on it, maybe his speech would give me a new outlook on life.

  • @rasalghul5555 Yeah, I wish he was here too. I can almost imagine what he'd say to the police working the Occupy protests...

"When you lost control on the street, you didn't just strike a protester, you laid another bruise on every man and woman who wears a uniform and a badge. Your newspaper story will give credence to those whose sole aim is to kick authority right in the groin. And you've shaken the confidence of those who believe in order with justice." Paraphrased from Episode 60.

  • @Fiifthman IUmm! Where were you, need I remind you that the Occupy movemnet isn't all rainbow and roses, do you know the crime rates within the crime rates not too mention "The common decrement of Man" that was a Webb speech line, with these illegal drugs in the Occupy movment, don't tell me that the Occupy garbarge is law abinding.

  • Yeah and slaves in 1850 were better off than slaves in 1750. Is that a justification for slavery? No, of course not. And WTF is this BS that because people die on the highway that we can't debate the issue of Viet Nam without first taking care of the Highways? Pure propaganda. The one thing I do admire is that while Joe and Bill weren't always right (imo), they sincerely wanted to make things better, and I applaud them for that. I'm sure Joe would defend my right to say these things.

  • @tomblack2112 The point is not that we shouldn't debate things. The point is, we're always improving ourselves, and we should continue to do so, rather than simply rip down everything we've built just because it has faults.

  • @TheOnlySnake Yes, I agree with that. I certainly did not mean to imply that we don't have a lot of things to be thankful for. Our justice system while flawed still seems to me to be the best one there is. I do worry about where it's been going lately. Just the same, I think it's wrong to give blind obedience to any system. That seems to be the antithesis to real patriotism inasmuch I believe the cornerstone of American democracy is advancement of free thought, but that too must have some limits

  • Groovy, hip and happening Nehru jacket.

    Those beads are boss!

  • Wow, show this to the thankless America haters in Europe.....

  • Now under Obama we are see 100 men lined up to get free apples at the free food store. President Obama, community organizer who HATES business so business refuses to hire anyone. Yep, 100 men lining up for free apples in every city in this country.

  • @MJD1701A Yep. Gotta LOVE that "Hope & Change"...

  • W3RD

  • Pure American honor. How can anyone dispute the fact that the best country in the world is the United States of America?

  • @pperezklein They can dispute it if they've been to Canada.

  • @pperezklein ehhhhh, Canada is better

  • Did American men wear necklaces like that in real life? What year is this from?

  • @Calsummersishere 1967 or 1968. These kids are supposed to be hippies. The show reflected the time.

  • Out of all the Joe Friday Jesus speeches my favorite one is when he tells Kent McCord what it means to be a cop. but this one is definitely number 2. And even Bill chimes in on this one. I love his reference to Hitler.

  • Damned Straight!

  • This needs to be played in schools. This is awesome.

  • "now shut the fuck up kid take this m-16 and go burn down a village in 'nam."

  • "not shut the fuck up kid take this m-16 and go burn down a village in 'nam."

  • 400 years ??? I thought it was July 4, 1776 , Jack that's 200 years (almost)

  • @iiYuTube The United States declared independence in 1776. But America was settled by the English in the late 1500s.

  • @iiYuTube

Lol that's the first thing I thought of. Did people back then not even have basic edudcation?

  • Love to hear Friday's speech of TODAY LOL

  • The country has worked for over 400 years, Jack? It seems Mister Web needs a history lesson. :)

  • @wrjamescom Mister Web History Lesson ?? Little Late huh ? lol

  • Joe Friday is a superb example of how cops should be. Unfortunately, he is fictional. In reality cops in this country are the dumbest pieces of worthless shit one can imagine. A woman I know has been getting harassed by some perverted redneck with sexually explicit notes. She went to the police, and they told her they couldn't do anything about it because writing notes is not illegal, and he has to be caught in the act; raping and/or killing her for it to be illegal.

  • @hectorbolshevik Try a restraining order.

  • @hectorbolshevik

Ever hear of free speech? The cop was right. Notes are not illegal. What do you expect a cop to do? Ignore the law because someone gets offended?

  • one mans utopia is another mans hell

  • He reminds me of Bookman in Seinfeld.

  • @bootymanager Seinfeld had nothing on Dragnet, not even in the same caliber. Comparing the two would be like comparing Crime and Punishment (Dragnet) to See Spot Run (Seinfeld)

  • TV shows of today just doesn't teach a message, like it did back then.. Everything he said is still true today. (just on a larger scale). I sure miss the oldies TV shows.

  • @scapilot

Fred Mayer said it best: "You want to send a message, get Western Union."

And Ben Franklin had something to say there as well: "whoever would sell liberty for security, shall lose both and deserves neither."

It's unfortunate that this message was so lost that people applaud a return to state-thugs calling the little people "ungrateful" for all that the king supposedly gives them.

  • this is used in the video of where jack webb schools obama in health care.

  • That kid in the blue outfit went on to become the mechanic on CHIPS.

  • I remember this episode. It was interesting. What is the name of it? thanks for posting.

  • I remember this episode

  • They were radicals in the best sense of the word.

  • The number of Americans who died in Vietnam was greater than fifty-five thousand.

  • what a load of yanky tosh

  • I loved Friday when he wasn't whining and preaching to hippies. They used the most ridiculous logical fallacies to address the very real concerns people had in those days.

I mean, Jesus Christ, they even drop *Hitler* in there?

What Friday fails to mention is that all of the privileges he and those kids enjoyed were won by radical leftists.

  • Scentless,

Your your trying to tell us that the Founding Fathers of these great United States were "leftists"? LMAO Don't try to reinvent history....they weren't. They were the polar opposite of "leftist."

  • @fmscribs

    really think about it....

they wanted freedom from tyrannical rule they wanted the public to make the rules not the government.

that was left for that time.

the first republican president wasn't until the 1860's for the first 100 years of this country we mainly had democrats and the wig party running the country.(mainly democrats)

hell the man who wrote the Declaration of Independence was in fact a democrat. were they hippies...fuck no. but they weren't conservatives.

  • @fmscribs No, the founding fathers weren't leftists: they were rich white landowners and slave owners that started an insurrection to get out of paying taxes on glass. Not only that, but they tried the best they could to keep common Americans from having the same rights the FFs felt they were entitled to as...well, rich white landowners. After the common people threatened revolt, they FF's ditched their plans and added a bill of rights. This cycle repeats itself with every freedom we enjoy.
  • Scentles, or should I say, "senseless?"

I never said the Founding Father were leftists. I said that they were the "polar opposite" of that. Meaning they were "conservative" or "right of center" in their ideology. "Life, Liberty, & the Pursuit of Happiness..."

1} not all of the FF owned slaves.

2} they revolted against Tyranny & taxation without representation.

3} the "Bill of rights" are things the Federal government CAN NOT do to the citizens. Not what it Can Do to us.

  • 1)But most of them tolerated slavery, or compromised on the issue of slavery during the founding of the country.

2)They revolted because of taxation, period. The rich elites in the colonies wanted to completely own this nation so that they could do business with absolutely no restrictions.

3)The Bill of Rights had to be won by radical struggle, and every amendment that was put forth had to be fought for tooth and nail.

The FF's were not deities;they were men, corrupt as any other politician.

  • @Scentless

" The FF's were not deities;they were men..."

I or no one else ever said they were "deities."

  • @fmscribs

The implication is that somehow they're exempt from criticism, or that the form of government they intended is somehow pure. It was anything but that, and trying to turn back the clock to a time when power was even more tightly held in the hands of the elites is not a goal we should try to meet.

  • @Scentless

hippies are as fascist as hitler was they just can get into power i mean can you think of any group of people that will tell you what to eat and what to do besides nazis...hippies do. i've seen them slice hummer tires, yell at people who order a steak. and i've seen them steal milk from farmers all in the name of free love and it being a free country. They are like Hitler.

no california uber alles for me

extremist are the problem from both sides.

  • @GeoWing2

First of all, fascism is exclusively a right-wing movement and political ideology by definition. Secondly, extremism is just unbridled

    idealism. Radicalism is pragmatic.

  • Scentless,

Your either naive, unread, or your sitting in a very left wing HS & or college. Which ever way, your wrong.

Fascism is NOT a "right wing movement" {or ideology}. Adolf Hitler was a Fascist & the Nazi Party was the National Socialist Party. A LEFT wing ideology. "Right wing ideology" are people who believe in small government, liberty, low taxes, and above all Life.

You might want to read a little bit of Thomas Jefferson and the Constitution.

  • @fmscribs Reall, then why did all the rich industrialists fund it's rise to power? Including Prescott Bush. Anyway this clip is anachronistic because it even admits that there are problems and people who care about them - today they don't even address kids who are against the war etc.

  • @fmscribs

You might want to learn to read altogether.

Authoritarian movements of all kinds (on the right or left) take the populist symbolism of the radical left in the beginning, and then drops them when they get power. Hitler called himself a socialist, but he supported big business, killed communists and socialists, didn't believe in equality or workers' rights, didn't believe in democracy, and supported a huge war effort-all policies that go against traditional Marxism and socialism.

  • @Scentless

Hitler was a socialist. And his party had more in common with the communists than some would like to admit.

  • @fmscribs

You don't even know the difference between a communist and a socialist... -_-

Hitler's party, the NSDAP,had a platform based on blaming liberalism, communism, democracy, and the Jews for Germany's troubles following WWI. Hitler believed in a strong military and aggressive expansionist foreign policy. Your ignorance is showing when you claim that he shared the same values of socialists of his day just because he took on one of their names. The NSDAP was closer to a certain other party.

  • @Scentless

In fact, the Communist and the Socialist parties (namely the KPD and SPD, respectively) were the first parties to be banned-so much so that Hitler wrote decrees specifically to punish and persecute the KPD and remove their ability to participate in politics. In fact, he blamed the Communists for a fire that burned down the Reichstag, calling them "terrorists", and using the situation of take away almost all of Germany's civil liberties.

  • @fmscribs

FURTHERMORE, the Nazi party worked with the Protestant church in Germany rather than trying to remove the religion, while atheism was a typical of Communist regimes of the day.

When the Brownshirts/SA tried to take the socialist aspect of "national socialism" seriously and pressured Hitler to fight capitalism,Hitler had them killed. Read about the Night of Long Knives.

In short, the NSDAP was socialist in name only.

  • @Scentless A decorated veteran of World War I, Hitler joined the precursor of the Nazi Party (DAP) in 1919 and became leader of NSDAP in 1921. Following his imprisonment after a failed coup in Bavaria in 1923, he gained support by promoting German nationalism, anti-semitism, anti-capitalism, and anti-communism with charismatic oratory and propaganda.

  • @Scentless

I don't think so as many have said as soon as you get to left you start to go right . the line kinda curves near its ends.

  • @Scentless Amen to that!!!

  • @americanjedi77 There would be more jobs if there were less liberals trying to centralize the economy

  • @americanjedi77

Jobs are created when one enters the market with a valuable skill or product. ppl who complain there aren't jobs often times are the ones who were horrible students and never learned a skill.

There are also the assholes who think they are the Steve Jobs/ Bill Gates exception when in fact they are just loser virgins living in their parent's basement.

Stop finger-pointing and make yourself attractive to Conservatives-they will hire anyone who can make them money
