I'm not aware of any action heroes beside the Ikaris who are able to take a helicopter down with a hand granade.

Indeed a pretty nice trick especially since the copter can be destroyed by grenade fragments as well, but you have forgotten about Operation Wolf ;)

However it's not possible to shoot down the copter as in wolf. This would be perhaps more logical.

You are right, indeed. Also I cannot be but impressed by Cabal, as there you can flatten an entire area with just an automatic rifle, including buildings, reducing them to pile of rubble.
