I miss this show and Frazier Thomas. Channel 9 came in the best out of all the Chicago stations in Culver. Those were great times in television. Today is a bunch of crap.
Thank you so much. I was such a young child and we watched this every single Sunday afternoon! This song suddenly appeared in my thoughts today and I wondered if some one was so kind to have included this on You Tube. Only a true Chicagoan would know this. Thank you so darn much! This brings tears to me. Beautiful!
this is really nice. I happened to find the wiki page of Family classics in my search for this music, and found list of movies Thomas had lined up. Almost without an exception, these are the movies that educated me, in a way, about the world. Your musical clip is flawless. Do you have the complete clip available?
BTW, I found that the composer is Dennis Berry, who did a lot of this kind of music. Such a shame that people like that whose work is IMPRINTED on our minds is so underrated. Thx.
@TuboEspectador Imprint is such a perfect word. It certainly has remained with me for even this long and this is nearly 40 years or more ago! Thank you for the extra on the composer!
