  • Johnny depp should make a movie about the life of Lennon.

  • Wow, he sounds like David Bowie. Or is it that David Bowie sounds like him...?

  • @Johnsipodtouchelp...I don't think John's interest in helping to sponsor a peace movement was an act. And it WAS influential..He himself described it as a giant advertisement for peace. Are you old enough to remember what a hell hole Vietnam was, and how it was dividing the country (see: Iraq)?? "He was a violent teen" ..well then of COURSE he wanted peace! I don't think it was a self-serving

'gimmick' contrived over some jealousy of Paul...listen to 'Bless You' , from Walls and Bridges..peace!

  • Ya never heard about John and his family back in England in the 70's. I thought it was just John, Yoko, Jules, Sean and Mimi... and yet there were lotsa Lennon's.

  • (Continuing) Paul was getting to be more popular than him, so he put on his full peace act. I believe that John did care about peace, but not as much as he says. You have to remember that John was a violent teen.

Also, in my opinion, John had the weakest solo career, musically, out of John, Paul, and George. John's best albums are POB and Imagine, which are both phenomenal. However, when he made those, Paul and George were making great albums too. ATMP, McCartney, RAM. I believe STINYC=bad

  • @johnsipodtouchhelp You have to listen to more albums he recorded, they're fantastic... MIND GAMES, rock 'n' roll, walls & bridges... Not weak at all

  • @DopeRats You misunderstand, I still love John Lennon. Saying he's my least favorite beatle is like saying he's my 5th favorite musician ever. (Beatles are 1, 2-4 are the other 3, 5 is john)

  • I'm going to post my true feelings of John. You may not like them, but these are my opinions, so don't thumb me down if you don't agree.

Calling John Lennon a peace activist is an insult to anyone who has ever been hurt in a campaign for peace. Lennon is nowhere near the leagues of Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., or Harvey Milk to name a few. These men were oppressed against and peacefully got what they wanted. Lennon was nothing more than a bored rock star, who, I think, began to realize that

  • @johnsipodtouchhelp gotta agree with you my friend

  • @johnsipodtouchhelp lol Harvey Fucking Milk, you damn jew shill job moron. Lennon was just a valid and anybody else you pompous douche rag.

  • @RayFeelaveR Trolololololololololol

  • What song is it he's singing?

  • he had a shweet hair cut later in life, gotta love john he politely says fuk you while come inside and its hilarious

  • jhons mind was a true ,(wideband) FET

receiver. with built in auto freq control and damn good automatic gain.of chorious great selectivity .... a great 500 mtr soul

  • john is NEVER spelled jhon. NEVER.

  • Always the Clown. Lennon was the best.

  • Nixon tried to deport this guy because he was anti-war. Blows my mind...

  • I'm a huge Lennon fan, but I swear, had he lived, he would've been terribly embarrassed by this era in his life. He's just so much better than this. It's my opinion he would've gone on to correct many of his mistakes. His lack of security being one of them. Yoko being the other. Gawd, Yoko Ono! You know, there's a lot of reasons to dislike this awful woman. Her terrible "singing" beling the LEAST of them. BTW, a "Chocolate Oliver" is a sort of a spongy cookie, what you might call a "brownie".

  • what? BS! he wouldn't have been embarrassed, he would've just been like "yeah I did that, that's what I did, I can't change that, why worry about it?" or something similar... and who cares your opinion of yoko ono, fact is Lennon loved the lady, and that's final.

  • Musician - Beyond the usual complaints, Yoko Ono was simply beneath John Lennon. She was not his intellectual equal. If you watch many of their videos, John often answers questions directed at her. He marginalizes her opinion, often interrupting her. Negating her comments with "well, what I think she means to say is". Mind you, not all of this was Yoko's fault. John was dealing with many demons at this point in his life. You'd need an awful lot of drugs to make Yoko look good. He was on plenty.

  • have you ever tried to explain yourself in a culture you weren't accepted in? Besides, Lennon always had a sense of leadership, and kept that up with Ono. Honestly, you and everyone else bashing Ono are simply bashing LENNON'S OPINIONS. HE LOVED THAT WOMAN GET OVER IT.

  • Musician - John Lennon is the only celebrity I've ever given the same respect in death that I would normally reserve for a family member. I've always had the feeling that, in some cosmic sense, this was some terrible mistake. I can see god saying "No! You were supposed to shoot JACK LEMON"! Yoko has turned John's personal possessions into a giant ATM. She forced Julian Lennon to bid at auction for a letter written to him by his father. Yoko's terrible singing isn't the ONLY reason to hate her!

  • I actually like her singing. It gives me tingles up and down my spine, it's beautiful. As for his death, it is what it is and that's all it ever is. As for his possessions, they're called POSSESSIONS because they are BAD (ya know, like POSSESS) He wouldn't care. Yeah it's shitty what she did, but it's not like John treated him much better (in fact, sometimes he treated him much WORSE). They were EQUALS, though I don't believe soul mates, but still, why worry about that bitch? really, why judge?

  • What's a 'chocolate Oliver?'
