@xvirus2501 The video does not show that happening btw. The first movement is the charging of the bolt carrier assembly with the charging handle. You see it fire and you see the buffer start to move but not the handle...
First of all, this is an M16, not an AR15. An AR15 has no auto-sear, which is in this animation.
In addition, there is a delay... on an M16, the auto-sear is tripped by the bolt carrier, as soon as the bolt locks into the barrel extension with no delay.
Also, this shows trigger manipulation on full-auto fire...
Over-all, a good attempt. Fix the few little flaws w/ the lock-work and it will be perfect. Best Stoner-design animation I have seen.
Actually, the first time was it being manually cocked via the charging handle, as you can see from the charging handle moving back with the bolt carrier. The second time right before it cuts, is of it firing, thus the charging handle staying put. What I'm curious about is why they made the charging handle "bounce" when it was brought back forward...
I didn't even notice that.... I guess I assumed it was already charged, since there is a round in the chamber. ... either way, he has a stuck case. :)
Dude, you're the one who's full of shit elvishboyman. AR15s and M16s are the same platform, the M16 is the military designation. Learn before you post.

That is a full auto M16 example, not a semi auto ar15.
I own both, you can tell by the RASIS paddle in the video.

@xvirus2501 Of course not. That's why when it's discharged, you don't see the charging handle being blown back...

Something is wrong with the trigger mechanism.

Technically, all M16s are Ar-15s. Ar-15 does not mean "semi-auto M16".
