Malaysia does have many types of ghosts. You can usually see them when you're driving or walking alone, even if there are 3 to 5 of you and your friends. Some will just try to scare you, other ghosts are able to harm you. In any case, it's best if you run when you see one and not try to fight back =S

Absolutely it can be Mothman. That's the same thing when in 1966 two couples saw this creature in TNT's Area (Point Pleasant) and they were chased during driving a car. Take a look: how can we ignore the red-eyed creature from 0:00 above the car and from 0:07 - 0:12 on the right side, flying and going away witouth flapping? (typical of the Mothman sightnings from 1966-1967).

Also 0:24 on the left we see the lower body part appearing and vanishing up flying.

So one way to explain that is like patchman9687 stated earlier, the lighting. Because the car is bouncing the light bounces as well, projecting an image.
