I feel your pain, Papa, nobody should have to put up with that $#!%...but I'm glad to see you have your solution :) I just got back from a week of camping up in Tobermory Ontario, and was looking forward to pushing you to do another vid, but you beat me to it...Good on ya brother. Great video and looking forward to more!
@JamesL1976 I've been up there, as you may know, I am a Canuck! Born in Montreal, oddly enough, so was Shatner. Thanks Dude, I had loads of fun making this "oddball" one, maybe not for the kiddies, but still good fun!
Now, we go forth, I'm making great progress in the studio this week, should show painted upper Saucer section by the end of this week, or early next.
I was wondering what the deal was with those older masks... good news is you found a solution. I've been using dry transfers on my armor collection for years and they are superior to decals. In your capable hands, using dry transfers will only add to your work.
@pmwalt22 Yep, those kit issues were pretty stinky. I was aware of dry transfers, but not the capability of making them yourself. Having them made in a specialty shop is very expensive. I'm still learning with this new equipment, but in a while, it will become standard on my kits. Indeed, they are superb, and light years more accurate than decals, look like applied paint! Thanks for your usual great comment!
As always, i learn so much from your videos and appreciate the effort you put in for both the professional quality of the build and for the informative video. I'm steps away myself from launching my bulding project. Has taken me awhile to research and determine scale. It's for me so it's not a paying project. But you never where it will lead me. Thanks for the inspiration.
@stoneman127 Jeez Dude, "inspiration" is one of the finest words in any language, right up there with "compassion", the finest of all qualities in a human being, I am honored by this comment, many thanks.
@shepharda74 It's a 6mm BB auto-fire, very accurate copy of a G5, widely used by SWAT teams. Fun for ripping the shreds out of cans, scaring the neighbors, and making silly films! Nice Warhammer modeling work on your channel Mate. :)
@jtnix4381 It can be done, but not with solvents. The method I use is tricky, and it takes a long time, but no damage results. It requires some extremely fine sandpapers, and some other specialty tools. Also, when enamel goes over enamel, and you work on removing it soon after application, the top (uncured) layer sort of "floats" over the harder "cured" layer. This gives you some flexibility in removing the top layer while it's still uncured. There is always a way to get it fixed.
@16FEET Indeed, you learn more from an event like this, than if all goes smoothly. It's part of the creative and learning process that makes this craft so interesting. Sometimes, you have to rethink your plan, step back a ways, try another method, "think out of the box". The model kit was pretty nice, but it's the other items that need to be on the same level. That cost me 2 weeks of careful work, but it won't happen again. Keep watching!
Even though you got screwed with the shitty masking, you still built one GORGEOUS model! Love the Army Ermie speech just before you "wounded" the effigy. Lol!
PS: I have that same Superman shirt. Mine has become too little somewhere around the fat tummy area... Maybe I'll go back to wearing it after my life has become less sedentary...
There is a reason they made no Superman movies set during the time Superman and Lois set up house. It appears Superman really liked her beef stroganoff...
@ModelloursWorkshop Thanks! Yes, all my models are commission projects, it's my day job. I really can't find the time for personal builds, too much work on the schedule!

I love good Stroganoff! It was a little take off on him, and a touch of "Inglorious Bastards"! Thanks for the great comment!
