@yonkersracing cai? so what now the rsx has like 2 more whp then before? this video doen not show anything, you cant even make out who hes racing or if the s2k is even in the right gear to race. a bone stock rsx will run 14.9 posted on there officail website....and s2k can hit 13s bone stock and the offiicail time for it is 14.0. now tell me a cai made the rsx that much faster????
@karsseboomh22 you clearly don't know wtf you are talking about....go do a search or drive a stock car vs. one w/ CAI esp a K or F series, it makes a bit more than 2 whp, if you owned a s2k you would know that...you are clearly oblivious because these races were SET UP and if you search my videos you would find the SAME EXACT VIDEOS filmed from the S2000.....btw lol @ comparing ETs when cars are running from a roll, you would compare TRAP SPEEDS, now run along b/c you've just been owned.
@yonkersracing no i do know about these cars and a cai does very little with out kpro. the problem with roll racing an s2k is they hace different gears so if you do a 40 mph roll the cars not even in its powerband while the rsx is. The f20c get nothing from a cai but maybe 3 whp i have seen many dynos and everyone know s2ks dont respond well to bolt-ons. if that guy in the s2k started at 6.8 rpm he would pull on that rsx.
@karsseboomh22 that's funny because I was able to feel a difference going from a crummy SRI intake that was on my 05 Type S to a CAI, I can't imagine how it would feel going from a stock airbox....I haven seen dyno's making upwards of 10whp with a CAI over stock on a K20. We are not really talking about a F20 w/ a CAI considering this F20 was bone stock....do your research, clubrsx.com has an intake test you can look for yourself...powerband is a bad excuse, both cars have short gears.
@yonkersracing no powerband is the main reason s2k will loose on the roll race...at 40mph an s2000 is at like 5000rpm maybe a lil less. in the rsx at 40mph its at like 5.7 rpm...the vtec in the f20 dont hit till 6000rpm. an s2k will loose to anything on a 40 mph roll ask anyone on s2ki.
@karsseboomh22 Good for you, come and run me then....I merked a stock AP2 when I was just I/RH/E in my 05 DC5 w/ an extra 220lb passenger in my car, search my vids if you don't believe me....
@karsseboomh22 he doesn't own the s2000 anymore for one, for 2, I would slaughter him no matter what MPH he wanted to go at, this RSX is not mine, i have full bolt ons and KPRO, he would eat my shit no matter what....40mph the RSX is not in VTEC either so stop making excuses....
lulz, s2k pwnz the S if both was boosted. Ever heard of the inline pro s2k running 9s and doing a wheel stand?? but yonkersracing i agree with you bolt ons on a S2k doesnt do shit bc its maxed out from the factory. ive seen a dyno day of s2k's and max whp was 200-210whp with bolt ons. The comment about stock 1/4mile times, s2ks are known to run high 13s with good driver as the S is known to run mid 14s with good driver. n/a bolt ons for bolt ons k series is better but boosted s2k>any k series
@k20a2toofast4u lol if the motor makes more power NA w/ bolt ons it's gonna make more power w/ the same turbo setup as well, it's called efficiency....the only difference is that it's easier for the s2k to handle the power b/c it comes stock w/ forged internals and is rwd which is better for drag racing, but once you launch the s2k on a tire, you are gonna have to swap out the rear end b/c it's a weak link
@choiiboiy lol they ran something like 4-5 times and everytime the rsx was faster, you really want to nitpick one run out of that video?? ahaha s2000 owners are funny, stock for stock it's not much faster than a rsx type s, you people don't have a clue, lol
the driver of the s2k must have been smoking crack or something bc my 04 s2k would rape that rsx. an rsx needs more than a CAI to take out an s2k... that was deff bad driving at its best.. (or worst).
@edwardheath1981 ur right, he had an 05 RSX-S exhaust too.....S2K is not that fast stock, don't know why all the owners think it's much faster than a type s when it's not
@yonkersracing hey i dont hate acura or rsx's but at the end of the day... the S is faster, handles 10x better, and looks so damned sweet :) ... but i smoke rsx's often with a lightly modded S2000. an s2k runs a 14.1 stock to the rsx 15.1 and that one second is a veeeeeeery long time in terms of a race. rsx's are much easier and cheaper to upgrade tho so thats one thing they have going for them.. but honestly i would rather lose in an s2k than win in an rsx :)
@edwardheath1981 most stock s2000's don't run anywhere close to a 14.1, I personally know 3 owners and none of them have run a low 14 in stock form...they are mid 14 second cars w/ a 95-97 mph trap.....the rsx is a high 14-low 15 second car w/ a similiar but slightly lower trap speed. At the end of the day, I want a car I can drive all year round and you won't be doing that in the northeast w/ an s2000, also, mod for mod....K series > F series....and i'll prove that
@yonkersracing Dude I live in Philly it's my DD. And ur mod for mod comment may be true but car for car F series >>>>>>> K series. Please don't even act like an rsx is better than an S2000 stock bc you'll just end up sounding unintelligent.
@edwardheath1981 who said anything about stock vs. stock??? I already said an s2k runs about mid 14s where an rsx-s is at high 14s to low 15s....of course the s2k is faster, it's a 2 seater rwd roaster compared to a fwd econobox....also out of the people i know that own them i can say at least 3 of them don't drive them all year round
@yonkersracing They run low 14's all day with a competent driver behind the wheel. They suck in the snow but it is drive-able.. I have a oem hardtop for cold months which helps..
The CAI probably slowed the car down. Here's what most RICERS don't understand: Without header, CAI, free flow cat, PLUS cat back exahust, you are not feeling the true meaning of performance parts working together, like they are supposed to. People think installing a CAI without anything else is actually producing more power..ITS NOT..its actually slowing your car down cuz you have not mated performance parts with performance parts... your mating stock with performance..IT WONT WORK.
This is the most retarded fucking thing I have ever heard in my life. A CAI most certainly adds more power over stock and the owner of the RSX can prove it with a dyno chart. The car put down 186whp w/ a CAI only, stock 03-04 RSX-S puts down 170-175whp at most, grow a brain sir.
ok... you might be right, depending on the car. This car gets more power with any intake you put on over stock. The exhaust on this car also does nothing... well maybe 5 hp.
this race is bs. rsx will and can not beat an s2k stock for stock.

@karsseboomh22 lol @ s2k fanboy.....guess what they both aren't stock, RSX-S w/ CAI = stock s2k from a roll, as seen in vid

@yonkersracing a cai? are joking? you call that modded? lmao

theres a reason why the s2 is a more expensive car.
line up with the s2 next time and dont start before the 3rd honk like you did at :29
