AK Mag Review

I have 5 Clear Smoked Bulgarian Mags, and I have had problems with them since I have bought them. I think it is because of my WASR-10/63, in fact I know that's the problem. I have had to resort to filing the mags so they fit in the wells. Also One of them has a 100% failure to feed, any tips on them? Cause I can find those mags easy, and get a box full of them for dirt cheap (To me anyways.)

@MrTacticalzombie i just had a problem with them not fitting in my underfolder, i filed down the front tab and they worked fine. If it isnt feeding right, change the spring and follower out, usually its the sping, but it can be both, a standard AK Mag spring should work, pretty sure they use the same follower too

dont know if ya ardy kno or not but the clear promags are made of weaker material than the black ones, which from my experiance blow tapcos away

I'm guessing H&K don't make mags for AK's do they. I guess it wouldn't make sense. The mag would cost as much as the rifle. $70.00.

@semiautoriflelover and the ammo is dirt cheap, i'm learning towards one, i thought i had a guy ready to buy me savage 111 but he backed out, i was gonna use that money to get one

Good info. I'm looking at a Ak 47 next. I don't think I've heard anything good about pro-mags from anyone. I almost want to buy one and experience the legendary fail for myself, but like you said I'll just spend the extra buck for a good commie mag.

@DaytonaRoadster I'm sure I'll just break the tabs off doing magazine reloads which I'm still working on. So far I'm liking the Bulgarian Circle 21's but I haven't really beat them up yet.

@jayrod68 lots of 9mm to break it in, also clean it before you shoot it, they ship with ALOT of oil in the gun
