Think of that to something similar to 'tears of joy'.

While her 'happy' eyes signify said emotion, they don't quite represent her real emotional intensity at this point well enough.

After all, this IS a proposition.

It may be stupid, but I've gotta say this: As a teenager, it's easy to get caught up in lust and stuff and letting it cloud your vision. You lose sight of what love really is, y'know? But seeing this movie reminded me what I'm really looking for. What I really want in a marriage. Anyway, it may be cheesy, but it's what I believe. Nice painting, BTW.
