Ok i couldnt see an aftermarket front mount intercooler on the skyline which means its either a stocker or the GTS model, the GTS has the RB25DE motor which is the naturally aspiarted 2.5L, but maybe was just a misprint on the title and meant GTS-T, and is running the factory sidemount intercooler.

Theres a Turbo model called the GTS-T with the same 2.5L motor.

this is one quick civic, though still boggled as to why you'd spend all that money on a FWD...

$800? Maybe if you get a used one off of ebay with some cheap chinese made compressor! That's a sure way to blow up your freshly rebuilt, fully forged motor. BTW, that's what kind of motor you need for 700hp... That stuff costs too.

Try 4 or 5 grand for a good reliable turbo "kit", or 3 or 4 if you piece it together yourself...

what??? my friend got fully rebuilt motor cast iron cleaned etc. stronger pistions, new crankshaft, cam shaft etc, anf fully rebuilt tranny for only 6 grand total his civic running at 500+ horses and thats with his turbo that cost 2 grand.. I guess it really depend where u live...

Of course you have to factor hot tanking the block, machining heads and cranks, cams, everything. Get it done by some one else, it'll cost at least twice that...

Its not really a "fail" in drag. Its just a different platform to compete in. In some FWD cars you can reach 10's quicker/cheaper than in a RWD/AWD car depending on the pwr/weight. There's some respectible FWD cars that make pretty awsome times that put RWD/AWD cars to shame.

Yes but how much of the race are you actually using all four wheels? Only on launch- so after launch you're dragging an extra 400lbs of tranny, driveshaft, and diff. Not saying AWD is bad for drag- not at all. Its awsome and I'd love to have one one day. But people act like there'd be no chance in hell a FWD could beat an AWD which is untrue unless the AWD has an ungoldy amount of pwr/trq under the hood or the power to weight is higher than the FWD.
