It s amusing how British humour while criticising the queen may be part of its strength. I am not - in any way - minimising the remarkable work of Fry and Laury. But if I may take the example of Mr jacques Chirac in France and the way he was considered by the "Guignols de l'info" (a famous news muppet show there) we might wonder to what extend criticism could be only a threat. Of course we must bear in mind that this kind of high spoted humour starts to be from another age. What do you think?

I was making a coffee in the office today and a smile spread across my face and I couldn't quite stifle a giggle. A colleague noticed and asked why on earth I just started smiling for no reason. I muttered "oh nothing, nothing. Just thinking about something I saw on telly." and I scuttled off rather embarrassed. I didn't feel I could tell my female colleague of advancing years that the real reason was beacuse I was thinking of Fry saying "...thicken and engorge with mounting excitement." !!

haha I love how nerdy Hugh has "never actually owned a piano" whilst normal Hugh is one of the most soulful and talented pianists I have ever had the good fortune of hearing.

Plus I just love it when these two act like idiots!! ( referring to Hugh's cop character) they're extremely well at it, which is remarkable for such intelligent men!!
