That's true, the lady should've put her hat on the floor or laying sideways on her lap but mostly, she shouldn't of brought a tall hat in the first place where she should've known that her tall hat would block the view of the other people in the theater (not just Ernie and Bert). If she really wanted to wear a hat to the movie theater, she should've brought a small brimmed hat to wear.
