  • Valentina Lisitsa...not Valentian...typo error, sorry.

    L.

  • This is very well played, as technicality goes...but, have you heard Valentian Lisitsa play this...then, compare the two...she has, by far, the emotional essence of the piece...this music begs to be taken on a journey...if the artist doesn't understand, it's the journey and not getting there, that is important, the excitement is lost...technically, he's splendid; but the listener needs more, to be sold on the piece...emotional understanding of the work being presented is needed here...

  • Excellent! YouTube supplies what no human beings ever had before - access to diverse, expert interpretations of some of the most beautiful things ever made by humans. I've enjoyed watching and hearing many versions of this piece; the one that moves me most is Valentina Igoshina's. Katsaris now forces me to reconsider.

  • amazing amazing amazing

  • I saw/heard this artist for the first time quite recently. I've heard Horowitz, Rubinstein, Michelangeli, Kempf, Barenboim etc. But this man has got something special: A natural clarity and - in my opinion - an interpretation that makes you feel that you have found a way back to what classical piano music should be like. It is a pleasure!

  • 2:27! unglaublich und lustig!

  • I think Chopin said this was his favorite melody
