For those of you that think this movie is confusing or too hard to follow or even that group of you that just don't like it for some reason are retarded. This was a terrific movie and one that Hollywood should take lessons from, this is how you make a movie. It was real, it was tragic, it was perhaps the best example of perfect acting I have ever seen. You definitely have to pay attention to the plot of the film but I guess todays movie going crowd finds that a bit to hard... Idiots.

Seems like the british are the only ones who got it right....BAFTA nominated both Penn n Del Toro for Best leading actor. I know the Oscarjury have this retarded unwritten rule that two actors of the same gender can´t be nominated for best leading actor or actress. Christian communist, never would've thought of that as one phrase. Then again, I'm a spiritual atheist at the moment. And you're right about del Toro's film of Che, it was faithful to the sources of Che and portrayed him as...not evil or even good. So there was room for ambiguity.

@PaladinConstantin Couldn't find that book at my local library. Right now in my life, I'm an atheist, before I was a confused Christian with a lot of private questions. I tried to work them out by reading, watching films, and conceptualizing ideas.
This film was one of those films that I obsess over, because of the themes involved. Death...the fact I still obsess over. The death of a person and how we as people react to it, that fascinates me. Sounds morose, but that's me.

not the main theme in this movie.
Its more than that its bout how people
are connected to each other.
That is what this movie makes so good for
