First round, same if ritchie solos are more sophisticated to ehar, tom morello solos aren't easy and he have created new songs, so he is an innovator and he have to be respected for that, so GO TOM!! For the second round both guitarists are great but i think van halen is better.

You shouldn't even have to think about who is the better player out of Blackmore or Morello. Hands down Blackmore is a much better player and has achieved more then Morello could even dream of. Van Halen and Angus Young is a hard one but I think Angus Young.

Van Halen for sure. Blackmore v Morello is tough. The styles makes it hard for me to chose, there is such difference between them. Love them both. I must say that I've met Richie and he is so down to earth and just a great guy. I think we hung out with D.P. for about 4hrs.(industry party). If it was life or death I'd go with Blackmore.
