The thing is, you have to ask why the police corrupts? Look at the pay of regular police, they are not enough money to survive and to meet the increasing inflation rate, I would say, they are forced to corrupt. Remember, they have family too. The problem is, the government is not taking care of them, it's government fault.
Look at the pay packets of the police officers in Singapore and compare that to the pay here! How can we expect them to survive on peanuts while ministers make their stash????

ShawnGlory, I understand how you feel because I am angry too. But, what if you are the cops and you have a wife and 3 children and you only got a little amount of money by the government? How are you gonna uphold the duty? Are you gonna starve your children? NO! That's why they have to corrupt in order to survive. If you want to blame, blame the senior police officers, and senior ministers in the government, not the regular police. It's common sense, self-preservation.
Also, gas price in Malaysia is relatively cheap. Government tried to keep the gas price low to deter inflation, however, gas price now is in record high, 100-110 US Dollars per barrel, there is no way to keep the gas price any lower.
Bad leadership of the government is one of the reasons as well. The good news is, the election recently held show that Malaysian people are more intelligent compared to previous elections, thanks to internet and media. It's a warning sign to government.

The thing is, you have to ask why the police corrupts? Look at the pay of regular police, they are not enough money to survive and to meet the increasing inflation rate, I would say, they are forced to corrupt. Remember, they have family too. The problem is, the government is not taking care of them, it's government fault.

How are you gonna uphold the duty? Are you gonna starve your children? NO! That's why they have to corrupt in order to survive. If you want to blame, blame the senior police officers, and senior ministers in the government, not the regular police. It's common sense, self-preservation.
