She is just ridiculously talented.

I used to think that she wasn't the best of actresses because I thought that the campness of Xena was the best she could do, but then she turns up on Battlestar Galactica and is brilliant. And she can sing! Just, wow.

Xena sure had its campy parts, but I wouldn't describe the entire show as campness at all, she basically made herself an icon with that character. There are some episodes that are extremely high quality (acting, writing, cinematography, etc) that its a shame that the general public only remembers the campy stuff y'know? But anyway, nice to see more Lucy fans :P I wish she could be in movies.

Oh I was a massive Xena fan - I was all about Xena for a good few years - but I never thought the acting was amazing; it was right for what the show was though.

I just never knew she had another level entirely until Xfiles and Battlestar. Her unhinged number ... um ... 5(?) was just briliant.
