I actually forgot that I ever even bought/still have this game. After the huge disappointments that were Red Alert 3 & Empire Earth 3, I took a several years break from RTS gameing altogether (& focused primarily on retro/vintage gaming). While digging though my rather extensive (50+/nearly everything made between 1991 - 2006) collection of RTS games I re-discovered it. I just re-installed AOE 1-3, Rise of Nations, RA/C&C 1-3 & EE 1-2 & I plan on doing some serious/lengthy RTS gaming. :-)

@gjc82071 Sounds like you have a lot of RTS games. Have you ever played the old Warhammer games? Shadow of the Horned Rat and Dark Omen? They're slower than C&C, but still pretty fun since it's very punishing (aka becomes unbeatable) if you lose too many troops. Without cheating anyway to refill the troops.

Yea, I do have a lot. I used to buy literally ever RTS game I could find. You name it, chances are....(if released before 2005) I probably have it. Actually I do have some Warhammer combo-pack games (Dawn of War/Winter Assault & something like "40,000" maybe??) but I never played them. They're still in an unopened box. Maybe I will check'em out. Mostly I like AoE, EE, C&C/RA, Star Trek Armada 1-2, Rise of Nations, Kohan, Seven Kingdoms, Stronghold, LotR, Lords of the Realm, etc.

EA clearly didn't know how to make a perfect C&C game (like TS, RA2 and add-ons). EA made their own strategy game formula (which can be seen in Generals) and push all this shit into other games ("unit under attack", general points, individual unit options, in RA3 ore located in bullshit stores). Add famous actors, a bit of goofiness, music clearly made for Generals that will never fit RA or Tiberian series and don't forget about screwing up the timeline. Thank god they decided to end this.

As well as base building if its not there then its not a CnC game just like making a new halo game and I looks identical to that crap they call cod mediocre... I miss the walls and such I do play CnC on the Xbox its simpler and I like the controls as well as the radial interface if you like the old CnC games try supreme commander 1 its a look alike gameplay wise

um, why would you spam the same unit in C&C 3, let alone any C&C game? Even if you spam mammoths, avatars, tripods you will get slaughtered by rocket squads or grenadiers w/ EMP grenades. And if your enemy is "Marked of Kane" then good luck trying to get passed their magnetic mines and EMP infantry.

@LiangHuBBB It'll most likely be base building again. I remember on the C&C4 forums there was a lot of rage towards the devs, and Apoc was addressing it all. He said they made mistakes and have learned from them, so hopefully that meant the next game would have familar C&C mechanics, not the shit C&C4 gave us.

I think this game... needs a little bit more balancing... and controls from Halo Wars... because the whole control scheme on Halo Wars was SIMPLE and very effective. If it's put into this franchise... this game will be godlike. And GDI is too much of a weakie faction =) any true C&C player knows that GDI sucks, Nod are great, and so are Scrin

@darklyt750 yes, you should CERTAINLY get this. C&C 3 TB was a GREAT game but this one is even better because it has 9 factions which means more variety online. Im already getting 2 of my friends to get this game... the C&C3 Kane's Wrath community NEEDS TO GROW! =P
