I like that. It can be simple and if so, then we've overcomplicated the whole thing. Not intentionally, I don't think, but as a matter of our social and cultural conditioning. But he has said you can't think you're way to There. God knows I've tried and I've no further along for the effort.
One such Realizer really isn't enough. We need many thousands more of them. One in every neighborhood! It should be simple and readily available.
I imagine it to be like dropping off into an abyss where the little sense of selfhood of 'me' is stripped away layer after layer until you're empty and hollow and nobody whatsoever remains, save the tiniest residue that allows you to function on this plane of existence. Why isn't this process of transformation effortless and natural? A catapillar become a moth with a lot of fuss. Why is all this talk needed?
@integralsun I can be simple. He is. We're not. Simple as that. Spiritual life is measured by this moment: what am I doing with my attention? Love-Communion? Persistence as This. Simple. My/Our complications move Him to address all of our places otherwise. Not empty, Fullness Itself.
look at Him. Isn't He just so loving, so understanding, so compassionate? How can anyone not see Him as Unconditional Love? He stands Alone on His Seat of Authority. His Authority is Being the Divine in Person. To be able to see Him as such is to be able to see Him beyond and Prior to even His words. There is no arrogance, no me and listen to only me as ego. Thank you Frank for this video.
" How can anyone not see Him as Unconditional Love? " Not believing in him as divine would be the primary way. Only when belief in his divinity has occurred can the ultimate indulgence can begin. Happygolucky!
I'm sure you know that realizing the Divine Condition has nothing to do with belief. When Adi Da talks about Me, and when I talk about Him, we are referring to the Divine Condition that is simply Prior to conditional nature/life. Then one will have realised that There is Only God. thank you
@happygolucky2000 I am aware that there are notions of the realisation of the divine condition that espouse no requirement for 'belief' for said realisation. Apparently Da requires an individual to invest in his teachings before approaching Da directly; surely this act involves belief not realisation. How can you 'refer' to something that is 'prior'(temporal) to conditional nature/life? I look forward to your response, thanks.
well what can one say if you already know? lol. BTW you do know that Adi Da is not alive in physical form? He passed nov. 2008.
All I can say is that I don't believe in His State and what he calls 7th stage realisation. I have faith that what He says is True. Faith is not the same as belief; or is it? lol, whatever I have realised that ego is an activity and that I do this pinch and that when I fee beyond it in contemplation of Him that knot dissolves by meditating on Him
I know that he is dead. Your reasoning seems a little ambiguous, even to your own self!!!! It seems to me that he is an idea in your mind and that you love this idea very much. It is this love that reassures you, that invigorates you. Notions of god, divinity and authority are surely the bloated concepts of the egoic mind and if the 'prior' condition is as you say, these awful words cannot touch it. You Da dudes always avoid my questions!
sorry we can't satisfy your curiosity/questions etc. All that matters to me is I'm doing what I like to do. That's my choice whatever your interpretation, or even whatever my mind comes up with. Be happy. where are you? im in uk
@happygolucky2000 Of course, do what you like. However, it strikes me that if one is making lots of comments about the ultimate truth of reality on a public forum such as youtube, one has a great opportunity to see those rationalisations tested, to deepen one's own understanding and provide a strong demonstrative basis for truth to inspire others. Especially if one is engaging those others. I to am in the UK in London. Whereabouts are you?
