  • This is great. :)

    What's the tuning?

  • Your work is fantastic, and you have inspired me to make a stick dulcimer. What size box did you use for this dulcimer?

  • why is it so loud?

  • Great job Jay. You'll have to teach me Turkey in the Straw, my son loves that song.

  • I would like to make one. Please can you give size for the neck and fret spacing. please.

  • I believe this one had a 22 inch scale, email me and I'll send you the fret positions.

  • Sure, thanks for the words of encouragement.

    THe songs are:

    I'll Fly Away

    Turkey In The Straw

    Where The Roses Never Fade

  • was wondering if you could be so kind as to name the three songs in your cigar box strum stick video?

Sounds great - the neck seems wider than a standard strum stick - is it neck through body design as wih most CBGs? seems to make good volume. Is it unamplified?

  • yes, since the neck was made from an axe handle, it was wider than most. It was a standard neck through design and and was VERY loud and unamplified, yes. God bless. :)
