  • No sequences??? REALLY!

  • FAKE AND GAY

  • There are 8 steps for a proper shuffle. 1.Scramble the cards(wash) 2.Give the deck 1 box (take about 1/3 of the deck and put it under the deck) 3.Shuffle twice 4.box once again 5.shuffle twice 6.strip the cards(take small portion from the top and place them on to the table between 4-6 prtions) 7. shuffle 1 time 8. place the cut card in front of u with the left hand and cut the deck with one hand. Shuffling cards 1/2 write this for watch the video on youtube. dealer school lesson #1.
  • Do not listen to this dude. You WILL be dealing WRONG!

His riffel, or "leaf?" is wrong. It's backwards. Leaf? seven times...lmao WHAT?

Not true!!! My player's would get pissed off if I RIFFELED seven times. Clocks running, and your still shuffling away..lol No direspect, but you dont know what your talking about.

  • @Earthmon Only inpatient noob guys won't wait for a good shuffle, besides a deck in casino won't start like this every time. Most of the times they are already shuffled from the previous games.

  • ???

  • Congrats, you think that 4x4 is 12

  • fail

  • @shelwig08 I wanna see a better video of yours, or deleting your worthless comment.

  • "these are going to be totally random, a CLUB, a CLUB, a CLUB and a spade" EPIC FAIL

  • boarderrob331

Obviously don't know much about cards

    Or maths

    Or probability for that matter.

out of 16 cards, there were 5 clubs, 5 diamonds, 5 hearts, and one spade.

    Random distribution of denominations also.

The perfect shuffle is never going to give you exactly 4 hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs, with exactly one card of each type.

The aim of a shuffle is to get a random assorment of cards, going from a completely organised deck to this is a pretty good result.

  • @LiLbUg99 Actually buddy, you dont know much about random stats and probabilities...

  • it works better with 4 or 5...this is the first way i learned to shuffle the randomness of what you did was determined by the amount of cards you grabed each cut after the first one

  • lol you do 8 perfect shuffles and it goes back to the original positions

  • hahaha! you suck at it!

  • kinda funny how when he dealed he cards he got a bunch of pairs and flushes.

  • I see a few things wrong with this. First, his riffles (leafing) of the deck is way too high, and isn't constidered standard by any casino. Second, he angles the cards way too much when he riffles and will cause tendonitis and or carpeltunnel later on in about 5-6 years of doing this "professionally" if he keeps at it the way he is. A standard casino approved randomization of the cards is "riffle riffle box riffle" 7 times riffling the deck will reorder the cards half way to their original...

  • ...position. Which is why when you cut a deck 13 times any way, the deck is still ordered semi correctly. Alogorithms explain what happens with a deck of cards in these cases, and why a card shark or card manipulator can perform amazing magic tricks easily. It's all math and common sense.

  • NO SHIT, SHERLOCK~! why don't u even add in that Logic & common sense dictates that a normal guy is financially (mathematically) better off NOTentering a casino then going in to play?

  • It doesn't matter to me if common people lack common sense enough not to waste their money in a casino or card room. In fact it is better for me if they do waste it since I work in one. The more they waste the more money in my paycheck. So ease up on the sarcasim and displaced whit, and my name isn't "sherlock." Also note my post was what was wrong with the person's shuffling techniques and not about his money. Learn to read a post for content before replying. Thanks.

  • 3 jacks hahahaha yea dead random!!! fat prick!!!

  • ROFL@!@!@!

  • order the deck then split 13 times then look at the deck

  • it just didnt quite work out in the end

  • I was once arrested for streaking naked through a ski resort, so I know what random means.

  • All these idiots commenting trying to show how much of an expert they are. You obviously didn't need to watch this video, and it obviously wasn't made for you... go put your expert mathematical knowledge to some use where it will actually matter to someones life.

  • I enjoyed this video. It was a good instruction video for the technique of leafing. But all the bullshit about randomness is just so wrong. Lots of people will just believe in it because they don't know better. That's why it's wrong to lie about things like that.

Tip: Look up som facts before do statements like that!

  • you sad sad people....

  • lmao omg this is so stupid!

  • Thank you for good instruction videos!

But seriously, haha. Do you really think you can tell if the deck is randomly shuffled by looking at the cards,

"these cards represent that if you leaf your deck seven times you're going to get a random shuffle".

Hahahahhahaha. I'm sorry to brake this to you. But the deck is not more randomly shuffled just because the sequence is 10D-JC-5H-8D-3D instead of 2D-3D-4D-5D-6D.

Any person who did math in high school should know this!

  • yeah that's random

any card player knows that 7 shuffles makes the deck random

    but think for your genius

  • Hahahahahahah! :D

You're really stupid. No offence but you obviously don't know anything about math. 7 shuffles doesn't make the deck random. It's impossible to shuffle a random deck.

You know when you buy a new deck, it's sorted like 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-... This is just as random as the shuffle in the video.

  • you're an idiot

do you know what random means?

  • Yes I do. You don't even know the meaning of random. I'm a mathematician so I'd probaly know a little more about this than you do.

  • you better go back to school

  • but can you play poker?

  • burda adamın amacı ne???

  • there are 16 cards. also, 3D, 2D, AD thats a sequence in the same suit- he doesnt adress that

  • it's still random

it will never be the same

  • Do you think the definition of random is "it will never be the same". Haha.

  • these 12 cards... last i knew 4 rows of 4 equaled 16. I could be wrong though.

  • Nice that you mentioned 7 times. I always shuffle 7 times. It is the mathematical amount for complete randomness. Any more than 7 doesn't matter, but less does. Excellent video.

  • "It is the mathematical amount for complete randomness"

You're so full of shit. Why would you even state such a thing when you don't have no idea about what you're talking about?

  • " don't have no idea " ?

    My point about you exactly.

    You are a fucking idiot

  • You're just making a fool out of yourself. Since you know nothing about math, obviously.
