It's funny how Stalin provided Hitler with war materials from 1937-1941 so Hitler could attack the USSR. Without Stalin's help, the Germans didn't have enough metals and fuel to conduct Blitzkrieg.

Had the germans not attacked 1941, they could have coexisted nicely..if somewhat uneasy ideological.

@jackzero99 omg that s wrong at first the germans hadn t got supports from the Soviet Union and either way germany would have won the blitzkrieg without USSR s help the USSR had their own problems with food crisis, in their army ......

@jackzero99 at first yes germany had a part of their oil from the soviet union but that was not so much to loose blitzkrieg and germany had their oil coal-to-liquids secondly there was oilfields in rumania, Galicia and Hungary,balkan countries these countries were allies of germany.

I'm sorry but it was exactly the opposite. Americans didnt join the war against Germany, until it was obvious that Germany was losing. Victory in WW2 was credit of Stalin and Churchill while Americans joined only to get the benefits from being "victors" while their "help" to UK and USSR was minimal.

@NecroFrost1990 Georgia's or Estonia's help in the current war in Afghanistan is an example of "minimal help." While the US began to emerge from it's perpetual state of isolationism through WWII, and delayed in doing so, 300,000+ troops killed in Europe is hardly "minimal help."

This isn't knocking the 17,000,000 Soviet or XX Million British losses; the USSR beared the brunt of the German force for the Allies, no doubt.
