The reason both Lupin and Tonks were killed was because Rowling wanted to draw parallels between Teddy's childhood with Harry and Neville's. All of them lost their parents to the Death Eaters, Teddy and Harry were sons of the Marauders, both Neville and Teddy's mothers were tortured/killed by Bellatrix and raised by their grandmothers. It was heartbreaking but Rowling wanted to show that the most tragic victims of a war are the innocent

being a huge fan of the books . the movies started getting bad after Prisoner of Azkaban for the sole reason that the books were longer. but the order of the pheonix especially i cant watch the movie considering how much was cut out. pretty much an awful adaptation. i still enjoyed the adaptation of Goblet of Fire.

Tonks should have had more scenes after this movie! For some reason, she became surprisingly calm and less awkward in half-blood prince and the final film (was it because she and Remus got married?). I liked her spunky self which should have been carried on, not to mention get Remus to like her. Bah, they both should have had more significance. Oh well, the flight over England was epic :D I wonder why no muggle sees them when they do that

I have been listening to the audio books which makes you see how much better the books are, but you can't put the sort of feeling the scenes+ music makes you feel with excitment, but it is a shame that about 1hour of the audio book seems like 10 minutes of the film, I would be happy to wait years for each movie to involve all that the books have.

People who never read the books would wonder what had happened,and how the hell they both got together and such. And did she even mention of having a child in DH part 1?Yet,Harry goes (SPOILER part 2) "but your son" to Lupin's ghost in the forest. They refer to things about T/R without giving them any significance.Torture!

Tonks kicks ass in the final scene in Order of the Phoenix. Not only does she arrive vertually arrive first on the scene, she takes out several death eaters for the rest of the order to come safely, gets the kids to safety through the ground trench and takes on Bellatrix Lestrange!!

If that's not worth recognition I don't know what is.

What J.K. Rowling did with Tonks and Lupin in the final book is stupid. If they both died and their son had gone with harry that would be fine, because it would be like harry and his parents, but instead he would have a parent. But to kill them both off and not give the kid to harry in the end is stupid, i do no applaud that course of action.
