The most talked about comic of its time. I couldnt breath in the middle of this book when I first read it. The end of 180 DD when he throws the Kingpin Vanessa's wedding ring had the same effect.
My all time favorite comic book. Daredevil inspires me to do good day to day. He's not perfect, he falls and fails, but he always redeems himself for the better. He'll just never give up...ever.
Someone did an Elektra vid with the music Rebirth by Boy Hits Car. If anyone knows what I am talking about PLEASE post it. It was on an official Marvel site about 6-7 years ago.
Nice job, this was cool to see again since it's been a while. I got to play Bullseye in a short film and do the very scene when I kill Elektra (video is on my page).
bullseye still alive in our days isnt, well anyone except me ask himself why... why of all those shits hapen to him he never dies, as i know he is human
Because he is a popular character, if you ask me old Bullseye should have stayed paralyzed after DD 181, when DD dropped him of a great height, and he broke his spine. Well Marvel brought him back, they always do whe they figured that?.... you guessed it they could make more bucks with him.
yes, i think is just for money too, they make him the new hawkeye isn't?
-humph- and this is other stupid question... dont you think marvel is forcing all his histories, i mean, the cap dies but was a lie... many mutants depowered... fantastic four never get old... fuck that shit, originality dies too much time ago
It is very difficult to be original with characters that have ongoing series that in some cases like Marvel have lasted almost 50 years, as Fantastic Four, Spiderman. You might find an original saga now and then but thats it, The last good story i read from Spiderman was Kraven s Last Hunt, that was originallt published 22 years ago. As for Daredevil , I ve always been a great fan, recently the Bendis -Maleeev period was awesome, both in script and art.
Daredevil has got the luck of having great creators, Frank Miller, DD-158-181, 219, 227-233, Ann Nocenti DD 250-291, with the best John Romita Jr art ever, and Finally Bendis -Mallev DD- 28-80(as i recall). Original stuff is more properly found on closed stories , such as V for Vendetta, Watchmen, Preacher, Sandman, they all had a set number of issues told a story and ended. There have been no sequels, my guess is that reprints , and movie rights give companies enough money for now.
true... so you are an veteran... thats good... but i think they can "kill" all those old series and try something new... that is they job isn´t.... i know is uneasy but please since house of m... yes is cool but is too comercial
As long as they sell they will keep going, Superman , batman, Cap, and all. For new series at least for me , since it is from 1994 I recommend The Invisibles by Grant Morrison, very off b eat, original, i dont have all the issues but mean to get them soon it is a great series .
invisibles.... ok im going to try... and think the same after all those simbiotes in spiderman... and all those problems in JL and after the killer joke all the histories dont have really inspiration... after miller theres nothing
I would also recommend Top 10 by Alan Moore , Sandman ( until the Season of Mists storyline ) , Neil Gaiman was really Inspired back then, they are easy to find on Tpb or Harcover, and worth the price. Finally from Daredevil try Daredevil Redemption. PD : Question by Dennis Oneil and Cowan , by Dc is now being collected on TPB. all these in case you haven t read them already.
I don't know if I'd call him "The best", but yeah, he's pretty underrated, ANYONE crazy enough to take on Daredevil HAS to be one tough nut to crack... not to mention make STAY cracked.
IDK. His comic showing his crazy mind while he was in his Hawkeye outfit was pretty sick. I think Bullseye is only gonna get mopre fleshed out as a character from this point on.
The Death of Elektra was an amazing fight. She should have won because she was better. But Bullseye was a really good fighter, too. He got too lucky. Maybe he's got some mutant power. Frank Miller made comics more like movies than any other comic book artist I've ever seen. I'd love to see this on the big screen, but I've still got his original comics and they all kick ass! Nice video.
I thought it was good, not amazing but not bad, had some pretty good fight scenes, a hot actress and a passable plot, what you would expect of a superheroes movie
This video shows what we should have expected from a super hero movie, especially a Frank Miller one. Sin City and 300 were huge hits because they followed the comics literally. DD and Elektra could have had that too.
Well when your fighting for your life at the hand of the man you supposivly never misses you kinda forget about how you look. Pluse she was jumping at Bullseye not just hangin out ontop of him like he was a bed.
I love Frank Miller. I have that comic, and its not a reprint. My name is a typo, I meant to put 181 for that issue. But oh well. Great vid man, I never knew those pages can last 4 mins. But it did. Kool vid once again man. 5/5
A very nice job, I'm surprised nobody else has left any comments yet. The music choice is well placed, and the editing is logical and the scans of the comic images are all clear and aren't pixelated or blurry at all. Very enjoyable.
I loved this issue. Bullseye is awesome, the fact that he narrates the whole issue is outstanding.
