the exhaust is a magnaflow catback and begi single tube downpipe with cat.

I'm missing my car. Been in japan 3 months now and its sitting at home in the states. At least I got my 97 WRX running good out here

@gibbletz DUDE! I made this vid to just have fun and do burnouts not to showcase my late apex and progressive braking skills. As i stated in my above comments my suspension setup along with near dead tires made drifting impossible and I just wanted to do some burnouts since i was home on my midtour from korea you jerk!. do i need to post up a pic of my multiple racing trophys to get douch bags like you off my back for having a little fun. sorry if my car dose 150 and your dosn't. don't hate.

Cool car. Your aspect ratio is messed up on the video though - you're making the car look even smaller than it is, and the wheels look like ovals! It looks like you filmed in widescreen and then at some point it was squashed down to 4:3.

mazdaspeed miata's where only made in 04 and 05 and yes they have a factory turbo. 4000 where made in 04 but less than 1600 in 05 because the factory burnt down

I have had it to 150 mph. it can go faster than that 164 at redline but I would need more power I think to break 155. the miata isn't a very aerodynamic car

I'm taking next week off work to install new 3.63 gears and do some dyno tuning. Look for a new 0-110mph vid and dyno vid at least. And possibly some track footage if I can

the top speed of a stock geared and stock ECU MSM is 128-130. I have hit about 145 which is my top end at 7300 rpm. Theoreticaly I could hit 164 if I changed my gearing to 3.63 gears.

The gearing sucks on this car.. My friends Mazdaspeed Mx5 tops out at about 135ish.. 6th gear, close to redline.. Flying Miata built a Mazdaspeed Miata, with a 5 speed swap.. now that car hauls asSs!!

Quick question, did you swap the gears to the 3.636s? Your gearing seems a lot taller than my MSM's, but it might just be that you're shifting 500 RPM higher than my stocker will even rev. Thanks!
