For those of you that are saying money cannot be eaten grow up! Money buys the food that feeds those in poverty. Money is not the problem. Usually the lack of trading and resouces is the problem. In Africa, they have plenty of resources, but no money due to the fact that the trading is going on through corrupt gurrilla armies that control all the fire power. They've apx 95% politicans in their pocket. Want poverty to end over there? The first start would be to actually do away with these groups.

The world is not "great" -- the world - planet - earth is purely indifferent. Please do not apply "this problem" to me... and yes, although money cannot be eaten, that was never it's intention. Money is a store of wealth, a medium of exchange, a holder of intrinsic value. Learn about money, free enterprise, the right to be left alone. Choose a life that never includes poverty and act accordingly.

Thank you....I agree...we all need to keep "life" in perspective. I live in the "Lucky Country....the land DownUnder" and I am thankful for it everyday. I do a lot of volunteer work but I agree with you all of us can do a lot more to ensure the World becomes a better place....
