The Cyclone is one of the great coasters of all time. It is anything but boring--in fact, it is hair-raising. I've ridden a lot of roller coasters and in terms of fear factor, this one's got them all beat--especially when you ride it at night.  It is fast and very rough. If you have neck or back problems stay off of it!

I still remember the cyclone as one of the scariest rides I've been on. And it isn't because of the intensity of the drops, it's rather because you feel like you're going to fly off your seat and hit a piece of wood as the drops take you into the ride.

They don't no for sure whats going to happen with AstroLand but the cyclone owners refuse to Sell the cyclone and Nathans is not yet sold.But The Cyclone is a historical Land Mark and as well as the Wonder Wheel.And Coney Islands Nathans is the best Nathans around The Travel channel says.And The corn dogs are awesome!

Please stop speaking right now and making yourself sound ignorant. The Cyclone is a historic landmark and would never be torn down. I personally went on this ride twice last summer. The drop has a very slight turn at the top, nothing like the 180+ degree turn Mind Eraser has.

So where's this research you did? Wikipedia has no mention of a demolishing date for the Cyclone. Neither does anyone else that has any sort of mental capacity. It was ALMOST torn down, but it was saved by all the people who stood up for it.

it wasn't ALMOST torn down...it was. But they did rebuild it, i just wasn't sure where it was now. NOW it is a historic landmark.But in the great depression nobody had the money to ride, nobody had the money to maintaine it, so it was torn down.
