For a beginner it's understandable.. but.. dont mind me saying this.. many notes are really really flat.. especially the higher notes. And the music should be more fluid as well, since it's a tango/dance type routine.. =) Yep. Just sayin.

Nice job man, i gotta tell you the same some others did, you´re out of tune on many of those notes, my cousin is a self taught too, and the little tip he uses is having on one ear an earphone with whatever he´s tryin to play, and there you get a really practical way to compare yourself, or get some classes, that´s always better.

Very nice for self taught. Now for the ego drain: some.. well most of your notes are out of tune. Some sharp some flat, have your pick. Keep practicing and you'll get there.

If tutor is out of question, a tip for you is to listen to the original audio and do a comparison of the tune of the sounds coming out of the speakers and you're violin. I'm not sure but you might be in a different key. ANyways, keep banging.

Im pretty sure that he isn´t completely self taught... He got at least some lessons with a real teacher... i bet!!

If he is self taught, he must be some kind of GENIUS... because he learned all the information that people gather over the las 600 years (anatomy studies and musical studies) alone?. I ask myself...

Learning to play the Violin is hard isn't it? I've been playing for a year and am still surprised I still have most of my hair, been pulling it out left right and centre! keep playing dude!

Hope your bow wasn't expensive. You should learn to use the whole thing. I can tell that you're self taught, by watching, I can see you skipped important steps in learning to play the violin. You have a good ear, although a few notes were off. If you sit down, and refine your playing, you do have great potential. Violin is not an easy instrument to learn, and your playing has 'holes' in it. If you can learn to fill them, you can do a lot better. Nice rendition, though.
