la mejor parte de la tormenta es cuando ya todo está en completa obscuridad y la musica se va apagando, entonces todos aplauden y gritan de emoción, te das cuenta que el viaje termina y los sentimientos estàn a flote.¡Sublime!
That song is Carmina Burana by Orff. I saw this over a decade ago in Ireland, and just two years ago in New York. They had jazzed up the NY show (probably to suit the short attention span of the average New Yorker!) but that spoiled it somewhat for me - the power of simplicity was lost. It's still an incredible show though. Pure, magical theatre.
I saw the show last night. I liked it better when I saw it off Broadway...for the same reason...The Broadway Production, though the theatre is small...lost some of it's magic. I was born in New York, still live here..If you really knew New Yorkers..you'd retract that statement. Spend some time here...your IQ would probably go up considerably.
I live here, with my New Yorker husband. And studies have shown that New Yorkers have shorter attention spans than people in other cities. I did not say that to offend anyone, rather, it is one of the reasons New Yorkers are also great achievers.
I saw it 2 days ago in Manchester, UK. We were 3 rows from the front. It was the most spectacular and beautiful thing I have ever, ever seen ! My kids (8 and 14 - the 14 year old being very hard to please!) have asked to go again next year!
I was in the fifth row so I was pretty damn close! I got everything hey could throw at ya! I sat next to my friend and when the snowstorm came I looked at my friend she looked like she was saying, "OH SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" LOL!
wasnt it gr8 Butterfly? I didn't take any videos until the storm:) I'm gonna post it soon on my channel. How deep was the confetti by the time you went because they don't clean it up between shows. I went on the 13th and there was alot in the 1st few rows and can imagine knee deep lol by the end of the festival.
Hey does anybody know the names of almost all the songs in the show by any chance?? I loved the music in the show n i cnt find the list anywhere!!! The show was hilarious!!! Awesome!! Its a must! Go russia!! Woohoo
Hahaha, same here, in Beacon theater, nyc. I kept finding confetti, but I really feel bad for the woman in the front who nearly got her hair torn out, remember the guy was walking on people's heads? lol
i saw it in chicago and i went backstage and met slava and the guy with pink hair. hes pretty cool. after we went to the afterparty. my family has best friends from vegas who have the show AGA BOOM its pretty sweet
this was brilliant, when i went in london i sh*t myself! the balls tho.... GOD i cant explain bloody brilliant!

Impressive. But there's a nearly identical scene in Cirque du Soleil's Alegria. Who did it first?
CaptainChaos 2 years ago
I saw this finale in Slava's show in 1999. Don't know how old Alegria is.
matchtrick 2 years ago
Aha. It's because Slava used to tour with Cirque du Soleil. Never mind... :-)
