awesome skill u have there. im just starting to get into this type of artwork and your vid is immensely helpful. a question though. will the leather u hammered down stay depressed or will it rise over time? is there some sort of finishing or fixing agent used to keep it pressed in firm or is the initial hammering enough? i'm worried that over time the pattern will work itself out of the design by it raising up.

@thx1103n Unless the leather gets more moisture added to it the design will stay down. There is no fixing agent to be added to it in regards to keeping it compressed over the long term but we do put a finish coat on it to seal the dyes, stains etc. when coloring the leather.
