This explains the secret name of Yahweh revealed by Moses at Horeb. When Moses is given the name of Yahweh he can then perform the acts of God before the Pharaoh. Knowing the name of God meant that one could do the magic.

Interesting, has all the elements: A snake, a woman, a god jealous of his knowledge he doesn't want to share.....so Eve represented Isis.....and this makes Amen/Ra=Yahweh?

Isis existed before the cult of Ra, with magic being her domain. When the cult of Ra came about, she was then said to have stolen it; however, it was always hers to begin with.

Now I understand how some of you mystics might become offended by my comment (prefering worship over understanding), but I thought I would point it out regardless. I hope I didn't step on the toes of anyones god? Opps, I guess I did crush the toes of Ra... Oh well, that's that.
