I've never been a fan of classic Dodges. Even by the muscle-car standards of the time they're heavy, clunky, cumbersome, and handle like a runaway combine harvester. However, there's just no denying the sound of that engine. That thing sounds like it's fueled with dynamite. Even in a simple YouTube video it can give you goosebumps. In person, you can physically feel each rev in your chest. Simply an amazing piece of machinery.
"Seem 'em going down the Road, and you see 'em in relation to Corolas and Honda Civics, and you realize, oh man, you realize just how cool the where, and still are" DAMN THATS TRUE!
@LightningSteed Yes ... every time Ive read about this swap into a classic mopar they need to do serious fab work to get it in. At the begining of the vid they say how the 5 speed fit so well they kept everything else stock and could swap the 4 speed back in at any time. That wouldn't be true with the 6 speed.
Retrofitting a vintage GM product with a built 700-R4 is easier and cleaner, and actually is "bolt in" unlike the Tremec and the problems they had with clearance and offset.. Just a tip for them who think about it.
He said he didn't hack or cut anything away BUT in part 1 they cut out a section of the tunnel for clearance. I think he may not have been thinking when he spoke.......

4.11 gears and 100bucks worth of gas - MY ASS!! Check my vids - 3.89 gears 250 miles to a car show, blow a away a 440Cuda and drive back. Leno is a knob!!
426 Hemi=Legend. Just a great sounding motor. They got some of these Hemi cars with built engines revving past 8K RPM and running 8's and 9's N/A..amazing engine especially considering how long ago it was made.
Asshole at 5:05 acting jealous! Haha!!
