wooow you are brilliant, I've always thought of how to make a realistic deformation of cars in 3Ds max and I think I've found the answer. thank you very much. but I wondered could you please make a small quick tutorials regarding car deformation using 3Ds max is it possible???
3Ds max is a rip off. get something like blender. Not as good and cant do am much stuff but its free. and you can still do alot off stuff. like make games and animations like this one =]
hmmm well I´m learning how to use it, it´s not a ripoff, but as any good tool u must learn how to use it right to create amazing things. This animations isn´t what I aim for when I use 3ds max, obviously I´m looking to do better anims/models each time, this was just an anim I made with very basic knowledge (relatively), search the net, I´m sure 3dsmax capabilities exceed blander´s on the long run, not just simple animations like this. ;)
Yah blender isn't used in any industry seriously. You need to learn either 3ds Max or Maya to make it in film or video games doing this kind of stuff.
Don't think I would ever say this about a video but that is too much damage to the car for that impact, plus you would hear a lot more noise and metal bending and crushing t ogether.
I'm working in modeling and animation, maybe a couple of months I will make another similar animation, i'm thinking about the same scenario but more realistic damage and physics, say a couple of 360s, or perhaps a rollover, who knows, crashes in real life are awesome, thnx!
i know, i'm not good animating, I still have to work on that. I took the sounds form a video here on youtube from a megane crash test and i had to render as much replays as in the original video lol.

Good job, you should have made the frame a little stronger though. btw,I know the pain of rendering those 15 seconds and I have i7 950
SpasMonger 1 year ago
no offense man but it would serve you better if you didn't put a big bubble over your video.
kennfletch 1 year ago 11
@kennfletch I know, but I just wanted for everyone asking for a tutorial to know there´s a tutorial. You can disable anotations though ;)

@namemusic The song is one of the songs available from AudioSwap in youtube (cuz original audio sucked)
its called 12:01 by Bryan Ingram.
The tune is only 23 seconds on the AudioSwap list, so I don´t really know if it´s just a fragment or a jingle.
