  • i love the dolls at 0:46, 2:50 ,3:00 and 3:07 love it x3 kawaii

  • 1:06 she looks LADY GAGA lol

  • I used to have doll issues when I was a kid. Bad dreams about them walking around my house and stuff like that. I'm guessing any one of these dolls would have had the same effect on me back then. There were a couple of times I was expecting on of the pics to move it's eyes. LOL

  • assustadoras...

  • 1:40 YOKO ONO!

  • soooooo damn creepy......

  • All of them are very beautiful and artistic, but the last one is actually....discusting.

  • @ShadeGirl123 Plus...it looks like a painting.... not a doll...

  • i think its the mucis that makes it look scary..

  • She/ he is my fav BJD artist after Koitsukihime.

  • niiiiiiceeee

it reminds me of the Gazette Taion music video..

  • It's like they were alive. They're gorgeous. These artist are genius, really; they fulfill their art with all kind of emotions.

  • they are beautifull this dolls:) I want to buy one

  • love them!!

they are gorgeous in a weird kind of way

its like finding beauty on the unexpected

  • inside the mind of a child rapist and murderer. Why would anyone do this?

  • @comanchehotspot Oh please don't generalize different art with a label like that, dark subject matter may not be for everyone but it has artists like Amano and Yoshida who have a power to their work as morbid as it may be to you,

for an Western perspective take the work of Gorey, Beardsley and Dame Darcey and Mark Ryden and others,

it can be dark but still compelling and beautiful in its own way.

  • Death, and rotting corpses. not attractive.

  • great pics...

  • Weiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiird !

  • Wow, they are really beautiful, and remind me of victorian dolls :p they have a 'lolita' sense about them :p

  • those dolls are beautiful..

i like the second last one~

has its mysteriousness to it ..

  • We saw many of these kinds of dolls in Shinjuku in Tokyo. They are well done and inventive but I will stick to the old fashion "sakura" ningyo.

  • How pretty <3

Alcune sembrano morte.

  • No, non mi piace.

  • who made the last two dolls?

They were the most disturbing of all and really well done.

  • AMAZING!!!!And a little disturbing but i like it very much!!

  • i love brian eno but this song really creeps me out, then you put images of horrific looking dolls and you have yourself a nightmare, right there. cool post though

  • They resemble a little bit Hans Bellmer's dolls. Surrealism has had some influence in Japan. There was also a group there.

  • interesting.

  • 1:48 Gorgeous! All of them are so beautiful.Absolutely a masterpieces and a work of art. I praise these doll masters.

  • You are sick if you think those things are truly beautiful. Dont you get the point?

  • Thank you for the beautiful images.

Katan dolls are very popular in Japan :)

  • io le trovo splendide. inquietanti sì (alcune sembrano che ti guardino dritto negli occhi), ma splendide. a dir la verità trovo più inquietanti le bambole di porcellana che si vedono in negozio. sono fatta a modo mio

  • Dead puppets.

I had never seen something like that.

You had choose a fitting music to the images.
