Beautiful! Going on a ride tomorrow. Doing a little bit of the trans-am trail. Not something you would want to do on a goldwing. haha but it's great on a little dual sport!
We rode on this exact road except in a van, I well remember this b/c my 4 yr. old daughter threw up! Luckily my older son grabbed a bag in time! I do not like mountains! I have lived in both CO. and CA. and now live in WI.
Cool video. Although I ride a Harley Davidson Road King 02, all motorcycle video's are good. This one is really good. I like the added touch of the music, perfect. I found myself leaning in my chair with the turns of the highway. How did you get the camera mounted? What kind of video camera did you use to keep it so stable?
Nice Nice Video. I really loved your video. Youtube can be a great asset for you. If you need any help getting your video exposed, check out this site called tubeviews [dot net] It has really done wonders for me, I have built 3 Channels up with videos at top in position and this is my forth channel i'm going to working on.
The camera is a Canon ZR200 (kept it on the inexpensive side in case it were to get hit by a rock, but it does a great job) and it was mounted to the engine guard on the GL1800 Gold Wing (very stable) using Ram Mounts. I usually just turn it on and let it go after getting it adjusted, but somtimes I will reach down and adjust while riding. A camera with a wired remote would be nice (it has IR but that is in the front, away from me). I shoot in the widescreen mode.

HWY 550 on a motorcycle is 'the danger zone' all right- nice video... I have GOT to ride this road this summer or fall.

Nice video man. I envy you. I too would like to know what kind of camera mount you used. Ride safe.

I just got back from riding this stretch of highway. It is a beautiful, breathtaking ride. If you get the chance go for it.
