ive researche this camera (cause im interested in buying) and the one flaw i have found is that it take non-rechargable AA batteries. its a bummer but at 14.2 MP u cant complain
I tried it on the 720p setting. It looks pretty good on a TV, but the framerate was all out of whack on my computer. It may be my crappy RAM or something with the camera..but the lowest setting still is pretty good in my opinion. Also, the file size is really nice.
Just got mine today, heres what I found out.
59MB 640 X 480 (VGA) 30 fps = 1 MINUTE
100MB 720 X 1280 (HD) 30fps = 1MINUTE
1Gb= 1HR HD = 1HR 40MIN VGA
16GB = 44 HRS in VGA = 16 HRS 720
1 DVD = 11 HRS VGA = 4HRS 720
14MP PIC = 2MB
Make sure you get a hard case,con is battery life
